Kartra Free Alternative: We Finally Have One!

I love Kartra, but often when I recommend it, people think that it’s expensive. If you’re just starting out and can’t really make use of all the features, I guess it’s a fair point, but that’s why today, I’m going to be showing you a Kartra Free Alternative!

Yes, that’s right a Free alternative to Kartra!

Believe it or not, we are actually going to be uncovering a completely free alternative, so stay tuned.

Kartra Free Alternative: Free Alternative To Kartra

Kartra Free Alternative:

The free alternative to Kartra is Groovefunnels and it’s completely free to join, you will not even need to enter a credit card.

You can get GrooveFunnels for completely free using the link below.

Join GrooveFunnels For Free (Lifetime Membership)

What Is GrooveFunnels?

Groovefunnels png

Groovefunnels is actually a new funnel builder platform that allows you to:

  • Build pages
  • Create sales funnels
  • Collect emails

For completely free. You also get to add different products and it’s all free.

Mike Filshame (CEO & Co-Founder) and his other colleagues made GrooveFunnels free because of the coronavirus pandemic. They did this to help businesses in the US and around the world, as so many were struggling.

Once the pandemic is over, it’s speculated that Groovefunnels will no longer be free, so I recommend getting it while it’s free.

Groovefunnels Pricing

GrooveFunnels is completely free at the moment because of the pandemic.

It also is still in the beta phase, but if you join to get it for free, you get lifetime access even when the $99 – $299 per month versions roll out.

What’s Inside of GrooveFunnels?

Here’s a list of features you will find inside of Groovefunnels:

  • Free hosting
  • Free funnel/page builder
  • Forms
  • Checkout functionality

As you can see, it’s everything other companies charge you $99+ per month for, so I recommend checking it out and quickly getting this lifetime deal.

Is It Better Than Kartra?

Not yet. Kartra is absolutely amazing and one of the best funnel builders out there.

Groovefunnels says they will have more features than Kartra in the future and that is very much possible, but as of right now they don’t.

They are looking to add a membership site feature, a webinar feature, an autoresponder feature, and more, so it’s likely that Groovefunnels will be better than Kartra in the future.

However, as of right now, it’s not… yet.

Free Autoresponder Too?

Groovefunnels email marketing

No Groovefunnels does not have a free autoresponder.

However, if you click the banner to the right of your screen (Desktop only) and opt-in to my email sequence, then once you receive the first email, just reply “What’s the free autoresponder?” and I will show you a secret free autoresponder that you can use.

So, while GrooveFunnels does not have a free autoresponder yet, you can get one by joining my email list through the banner on the right. Then, just shoot me an email and I will show you a free autoresponder you can use for affiliate marketing or any other type of business.

In fact, even if you just join the email list and wait, eventually I will send it to you automatically, so you can do that if you prefer.

How Much Do Funnel Builders Usually Cost?

Normally, funnel builders are a lot more expensive.

They can cost anywhere from $99 to $499 per month, especially if they have great features. There are even some funnel builders that don’t let you create sales pages or add your products which cost over $99 per month, so to have Groovefunnels do this for free is actually insane.

GrooveFunnels is a great free alternative to Kartra, so if you’re on a budget, you should be using it!

What Is a Funnel Builder?

A funnel builder software is a piece of software you use to build your sales funnel.

  • ClickFunnels $97-$297 per month
  • Kartra $99 – $499 per month
  • Kajabi $149+ per month
  • PayKickStart $99 Per Month

So that GrooveFunnels is free is crazy!

Step 3: Select a template you want to use

Step 4: Design some pages

Step 5: Connect them together with the needed redirects on submits

What Features Does Kartra Have Which GrooveFunnels Doesn’t?

Groove is looking to add all of these features plus webinars in the future, but for now, Kartra still has more features.

Here are the features only inside of Kartra:

However, these features are meant to be added to GrooveFunnels by the end of the year.

Final Thoughts

As you can see, the Kartra free alternative is a great alternative that you can use instead of Kartra for completely free. It’s simple and allows you to build a sales funnel.

I am not sure how long that special lifetime free option will be available for and there is no way it’s going to stay forever, so definitely make sure to make use of that while you can.

Kartra Email Marketing: Is It Any Good?

You came across Kartra, but you’re not quite sure how good the Kartra email marketing tools are… No problem.

In this article, we are going to putting Kartra’s email marketing tools to the test to see whether they are good enough to match what your normal autoresponder does.

Kartra Email Marketing: Is it any good?

Kartra Email Marketing: Is It Any Good?

Yes, the email marketing tools inside of Kartra actually do match what most autoresponders have to offer.

There are some autoresponders that have very unique features, but Kartra Mail is right up there with the likes of GetResponse, ActiveCampaign, and the other classic autoresponders out there.

It even has some advantages when it comes to features like tagging, as there are more triggers available due to your whole business being inside of Kartra.

Kartra Mail Features

Here are the main features inside of Kartra mail:

  • Behavior-based Automation Sequences
  • Split-tests
  • Lead Tagging
  • Contact Scoring
  • Advanced Analytics (Sales, etc.)

Kartra has a great deliverability rate too, as it’s something the platform is extremely careful about. But, as you can tell from the list above, Kartra has all the features that you will usually find inside of your autoresponder.

Behavior-based Automation Sequences

Kartra automation workflows.

Firstly, we have the behavior-based automation sequences and these are even better than in most autoresponders. Why?

Because there are more triggers.

You can trigger by whether the recipient has watched X% of your sales video, is an active affiliate, and all sorts of triggers that you won’t usually find in most autoresponders.

This means Kartra does not disappoint when it comes to the automation sequences.

It does not matter what you are trying to market, there will be times where you need to split-test your emails.

Again, this is something where Kartra does not disappoint either. Why?

You don’t just have the option to split-test your broadcast emails, but also your emails inside of the automation sequences.

Kartra lets you split-test these on auto-pilot and will pick a winner based on the settings you configure.

Lead Tagging & Contact Scoring

Kartra also comes with lead tagging features which as I mentioned earlier on, are pretty powerful too.

They do have more triggers than a normal autoresponder which means they are a little more powerful than a normal autoresponder’s tags.

Kartra Mail will also score the leads for you so that you know when your leads are engaged or not.

This will allow you to keep all your leads as engaged as possible with ease.

Good Deliverability

Kartra really cares about their deliverability, it will notify you when you are getting bounces and help you regularly clean your list to make sure that your list is engaged.

As you would expect, this results in Kartra having a great deliverability rate.

Advantages of Kartra vs Your Normal Autoresponder

Kartra has a couple of advantages vs your normal autoresponder.

For one, there are more triggers as I have mentioned earlier on. This means you can write more personalized emails based on more specific actions of your contacts resulting in higher conversions.

The next advantage is that there is no need for integrations.

With Kartra all your tools are inside of one dashboard including:

  • Your page builder & checkouts
  • Membership Sites
  • Email Marketing
  • Video Hosting
  • Calendar
  • Helpdesks

Integrations can be a real pain. Sometimes there are hidden costs as you need to use something like Zapier or sometimes software just won’t communicate correctly with another piece.

But with Kartra, you can manage everything from one easy-to-use dashboard.

This doesn’t just have the advantage in terms of integrations, but also productivity, as believe it or not, trying to switch between different web applications all the time, does actually take up quite some time.

I would sum up Kartra Mail as more power, fewer headaches.

In a lot of my recent articles, I have compared Kartra to some autoresponders to help you find the best option for you.

Feel free to check those out, if you’re unsure whether to use Kartra.

Kartra vs ConvertKit

Kartra vs GetResponse

Kartra Email Marketing Demo

How To Get Started With Kartra Email Marketing

I think we can both agree that Kartra has some great power behind it and that giving it a go is definitely worth it.

If you would like to give Kartra a go for yourself, I do have something special for you, as for a limited time you can get an extended trial.

I’m not sure how long this little trick will be available, so I recommend using it while you can.

If you’re getting 16 additional days of Kartra for free that’s pretty much a 50% discount, so make use of it while you can.

Final Thoughts

Kartra mail is a real autoresponder.

Unlike a couple of other funnel builders that offer email marketing tools, Kartra offers comprehensive email marketing features that match those of a real autoresponder.

This is great, as email marketing campaigns are known to have a crazy ROI. According to Snovio, the average ROI of an email marketing campaign is $42 for every dollar spent.

With the comprehensive email marketing tools Kartra has to offer, hitting those numbers is very much possible. If you’re looking for just an email marketing tool, you can also consider Aweber and ActiveCampaign. I made a full Aweber vs ActiveCampaign comparison where you can find the best option for you.

Savage Affiliates Review: REAL Student Reveals Experience

Welcome to my Savage affiliates review in which I will reveal all the contents inside of Savage affiliates to help you find out if this course is for you.

I will also be giving you a list of topics that I recommend researching outside of Savage affiliates if you do want to purchase it, as learning those topics will help you succeed and I feel like they are not thoroughly covered inside of the course.

The course has over 30 hours of video training, so this article is going to be quite long, but it will help you find out exactly what to expect when purchasing Savage affiliates.

Savage Affiliates Review: Overview

Note: This review refers to Savage affiliates 2.0.

Overall Rating9.5/10

Real quick before we start, I have rated Savage affiliates 2.0 at 9.5/10 because of a combination of quality, quantity, and pricing.

Other video courses with this much content cost $997.

The content inside is fantastic too, but there are some little things missing which I will talk about in each specific section later on and add to a list.

Just for comparison, if this course was priced at $997, I would have rated it 8/10.

What Is Savage Affiliates?

Savage Affiliates is one of the best franklin hatchetts courses

Savage affiliates is an affiliate marketing course created by Franklin Hatchett.

Originally, it was launched in 2018, but since then there have been 2 major updates to Savage Affiliates.

This review will be about Savage Affiliates 2.0, the newest version as of 2020.

The course comes with:

  • 30 Hours of over the shoulder training
  • Facebook Group for Members
  • Training on all types of affiliate marketing

What Does The Savage Affiliates Training Cover?

The training itself is huge.

There are around 10 modules all on different aspects of affiliate marketing.

Here are the 10 modules:

  • Affiliate Marketing Introduction
  • Affiliate Products to promote
  • Building your website asset
  • SEO Google Traffic Training
  • The Email Automation Academy
  • Free Traffic
  • Paid Traffic
  • Student Case Study
  • Amazon Affiliate Marketing
  • Bonuses

Only in Upsell:

  • Done-For-You Affiliate Systems
  • Launch Jacking & Web hosting blueprint
  • The Funnel Academy

We are going to talk about each module individually, to see whether the course is a good fit for you.

Affiliate Marketing Introduction

This course is designed for complete beginners, so there is a module just explaining affiliate marketing, what it is, and how it works.

Pretty standard stuff.

Affiliate Products To Promote

Savage affiliates will also help you find affiliate products.

It talks a little about problem-solving and helps you find some lucrative affiliate programs, but again this is pretty standard.

Building Your Website Asset

Savage affiliates building your website

This next module is all about building your website asset which refers to your blog.

Savage affiliates will help you build and design your website step-by-step and get all the pages in place so that you are ready to go.

It does also cover some basic SEO best practices, as that is just part of building a website.

The training is a complete over-the-shoulder setup, so you can build your website as Franklin does it right in front of you.

SEO Google Traffic Training

After you have built your website, you’re going to need to learn some SEO and that’s exactly what Savage affiliates teaches next.

In this module you will learn how to:

  • Track your keywords
  • Sort out website speed
  • Have content relevance in your blog
  • Do on-page SEO
  • Outbound & Interlinking
  • Get Social Signals
  • Build Foundation Links
  • Get Guest Posts
  • Get Editorial Links
  • Use PBNs (If you want to)

Savage Affiliates SEO training

When I purchased this course, this module was the main reason I purchased it and it didn’t disappoint.

I was intermediate-advanced at Blog SEO when I purchased it, but I got so much value from this module specifically the off-page SEO part.

There have been some people complaining about Savage Affiliates explaining PBNs, but he explicitly states they are black-hat and says you don’t have to use them.

He just explains it for the people who do want to rank their site quicker. Nothing wrong with that.

Where this module could improve:

This module teaches everything you need to know about SEO, but I would like it to go more in-depth about:

  • Interlinking (For example with a silo-structure)
  • Technical SEO (It covers site speed, but still)
  • Competitor/SERP analysis

I know you don’t have to do a silo structure, but the course kind of just says something along the lines of link to your relevant articles to help Google understand what it’s about.

Technical SEO could be improved a little too, as it does cover site speed but not really anything else.

Lastly, I would also like it to have a better SERP (Search Engine Results Page) analysis to help students see whether they can rank or not.

Don’t get me wrong though, this module is fantastic other than those three points I mentioned above.

It will show you everything else you need to grow a successful blog and even how to do on-page tailored to a keyword instead of a general guideline. But, I would recommend taking note of those three things I mentioned above, so you can learn them in your free time if you do want to purchase the course.

If you are looking to gain a competitive advantage with SEO, make sure to check out the best all in one SEO tools.

The Email Automation Academy

If you want to be good in affiliate marketing, you need email marketing.

As you would expect, Savage affiliates teaches that too.

In this module you will learn how to:

  • Build an opt-in form
  • Create lists
  • Send out broadcasts if you want to
  • Build out automation sequences
  • Write good emails
  • Get your emails delivered
  • Advanced automation segments

It does bring you all the information you need to get started with email marketing for your affiliate business.

There’s not too much I have to say on this module, as it’s pretty standard.

But, in terms of improvements, I guess it could teach a little more about finding the lead value so that you can scale with paid ads.

Free Traffic Training

Savage affiliates also teaches free traffic.

In this module you will learn how to:

  • Create a traffic-generating Facebook Profile
  • Build and Grow a Facebook Group
  • Start and grow your YouTube channel
  • How to rank YouTube videos
  • How to get videos without making them
  • do YouTube keyword research
  • Upload & Optimize videos
  • How to get suggested videos
  • Use forums for traffic
  • Use Quora for traffic
  • Use Instagram for traffic

The module is packed with great value which will help grow whatever you want to grow.

You can use this module to build your email list, your blog, your YouTube channel, or all of those assets.

I actually learned quite a lot about YouTube in this module too which I didn’t know before, so it’s another great module of Savage Affiliates.

Savage affiliates 2.0 paid ads

Savage affiliates doesn’t only have training on free traffic, it also has some great training on paid traffic.

This includes Affiliate marketing with Facebook ads and Google ads.

Facebook Ads Training:

In the Facebook Ads Module Savage Affiliates Covers:

  • How to research your ideal buyer
  • Overview of the Facebook Ad manager
  • Creating a Page for Ads
  • Installing Tracking Pixel
  • Different Campaign types
  • Creating Your Ads
  • Campaign Budget Optimization
  • Understanding Ad Data
  • Creating Custom Audiences

It does cover pretty much everything you need to know about Facebook ads.

The most important part is the research into your ideal buyer and that goes back to what problem does your product solve?

If you know exactly who would buy your product, then reaching them with Facebook ads is fairly easy.

Savage Affiliates also comes with Google ads training.

This includes training on:

  • Google Ads Overview
  • Installing Google Pixel
  • Understanding Campaign Types
  • Creating a Search Ad
  • How to create a YouTube ad
  • Custom YouTube placements
  • Creating audiences
  • Understanding the ad data
  • Optimizing & Scaling

Franklin uses a lot of Google ads himself, so the training is of the highest quality possible.

Lastly, Savage Affiliates also comes with some bonuses.

Here is a list of unadvertised bonuses:

  • Franklin & Student Case Studies
  • Viking Blog Training
  • Amazon Affiliate Marketing Module
  • Email Authority
  • Instagram Excellence

Savage Affiliate does have one upsell for an additional $100 which comes with:

  • Web hosting Commissions Blueprint
  • Affiliate Launch Jacking Commissions Blueprint
  • Franklin’s Done-For-You Affiliate Marketing Funnels
  • ClickFunnels Module

I have the upsells and must say they are pretty good.

If you are looking to either start launch jacking, promote ClickFunnels or Web hosting, you should consider it.

It’s not really an upsell either, it’s more of a different pricing plan which you can select on the Website.

Of course, I am going to give you a look inside below.

Done-For-You Affiliate Systems (Only in Upsell)

Savage affiliates review: DFY Systems

If you decide to go with the upsell, you get a couple of done-for-you campaigns to make affiliate marketing a lot easier.

This includes

  1. A Funnel for a ClickBank Product in the internet marketing niche
  2. A Funnel for a ClickBank Product in the health niche
  3. A Funnel that promotes ClickFunnels

Keep in mind that to import Franklin Hatchett’s Funnels you will need ClickFunnels.

Now, these funnels are pretty good and they are by no means overused, as they are exclusive to Franklin’s students.

He also explains how to drive traffic into these funnels, set them up, and anything else you needed to know.

Launch Jacking & Web Hosting BluePrint (Only in Upsell)

The next part of the Savage Affiliate upsell is the launch jacking and web hosting affiliate blueprint.

Launch jacking is a process where you create pieces of content on products just launching which means you get a big spike of traffic, as people who have been emailed or advertised to about that product will research it.

Often, a big number of those people will then purchase through your affiliate link, especially if you are offering bonuses.

The web hosting blueprint is also a method that involves creating comparisons and tutorials around Web hosting.

I don’t want to go into detail too much, as it’s Franklin’s course, but it definitely is a great way to earn affiliate commissions.

The Funnel Academy (Only in Upsell)

Savage affiliates funnel academy

The last part of the upsell is the funnel academy which is basically the ClickFunnels module.

In this module, you will learn different ways to promote ClickFunnels and the DFY funnel such as:

  • Using Facebook Ads
  • Using Google Ads
  • Using SEO/ Your Website

There are a couple of other ways too explained inside of the training too.

Savage Affiliates Pricing

Savage affiliates has two pricing levels:

  • Standard $197
  • Super $297

We already covered the differences between the two earlier on, but just to recap here are the parts of the training only available in the Super pricing level:

  • Done-For-You Affiliate Systems
  • Launch Jacking Blueprint
  • Web Hosting BluePrint
  • The Funnel Academy

Refund Policy & Support

The refund policy is an action-based refund policy.

This means if you want to be eligible, you need to have completed at least 50% of the course.

After 30 days, if you have completed at least 30% of the course, you can request a refund.

In terms of support, they are also quite slow, but they do have the Facebook group where you can get answers quicker if you needed to.

My Opinion on Savage Affiliates 2.0

I think it’s the best affiliate marketing course out there, especially for beginners.

It teaches you how to set things up in the back-end and then run traffic to these systems.

What I also like is the way Savage affiliates is structured, as it teaches you first to create a system and then run traffic to it.

Or, if you purchase the complete version you can even use some of Franklin’s funnels.

It’s also unbeatable when it comes to price, as all other courses with this much good training charge at least $497.

However, if you’re going to join and expect the course to make money for you without you doing anything, then just don’t get it in the first place (read next).

What To Be Aware of When Purchasing Savage Affiliates

Savage affiliates teaches affiliate marketing and affiliate marketing is a business.

If you just look at this as some sort of way to make money online quickly without taking the time to learn the skills involved, then you’re going to fail.

I have also created a list of topics that I recommend you research a little better so that you will have the best information possible.

If you’re expecting to buy this one course and not putting in a lot of effort, then affiliate marketing is not for you.

The course also teaches pretty much every good method there is, meaning you could get overwhelmed.

I recommend sticking to one type of website/system first and just a couple of traffic methods. If you try to do it all you will probably fail.

Join Savage Affiliates 2.0

List of Topics I recommend learning outside of Savage Affiliates

If you do decide to join Savage Affiliates then I recommend you take this list of topics that you can do a little research outside of Savage Affiliates.

  • Copywriting
  • Technical SEO
  • SERP analysis & Competitor research
  • How to satisfy Google (Google’s Ranking Factors)
  • Silo Structure & Internal Linking
  • Email Lead Value & Scaling

Those are the topics that are in my opinion not covered enough.

“But I don’t to do research”. Well, then you shouldn’t go into affiliate marketing or any business really, as you have to constantly be learning.

The guys out there doing crazy numbers are constantly learning to, so good luck ever competing with them without doing research.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not asking you to read a crazy amount of books, just do a little research.

And, if you’re not even doing the SEO-side of things, then all you need to research (and practice) is copywriting and email lead value.

I just created this list as I have already watched through the course and in my opinion, those are pieces of the puzzle that are missing.

Basically, this list is there to save you a little time as everything else is there inside of Savage affiliates.

Savage Affiliates Review: Conclusion

At $197 for standard Access, Savage affiliates is a great low-cost affiliate marketing course to help beginners get started with affiliate marketing. It’s a complete course with over 30 hours of over-the-shoulder video with Franklin Hatchett in a variety of different affiliate marketing methods.

In terms of value for the price, you can’t beat it.

If you are serious about learning affiliate marketing but don’t want to go for one of the other affiliate marketing courses that usually cost around $997 then I definitely recommend considering Franklin Hatchett’s Savage affiliates.

The way the training is structured and the quality of information is just top-notch and you will not find that sort of value anywhere else for the same price.

I do recommend also researching the list of topics I recommended earlier on if you do join Savage Affiliates 2.0, as they can help you a lot.

Free Autoresponder For Affiliate Marketing! (We Finally Have One!)

Email marketing is extremely important for affiliate marketing.

It allows affiliates to stay connected with their leads which also helps them generate repeat business.

When you’re just starting out, you might be looking for a free autoresponder for affiliate marketing. Now, up until recently there wasn’t a free option available, at least not one I knew of.

However, recently an existing autoresponder that allows affiliate marketing has come out and added a free plan.

This means, there is now a free autoresponder for affiliate marketing.

Free Autoresponder For Affiliate Marketing

Free Autoresponder For Affiliate Marketing

Up until recently Aweber used to start at $19 per month, however, they are actually offering a free plan now.

What’s inside?

  • Autoresponder
  • Unlimited Landing Pages
  • Email Templates
  • Up to 500 contacts

As you can see, the Aweber free plan is everything you need to get going with Affiliate marketing. It even comes with landing pages!

Join Aweber For FREE! (Seriously Free, forever.)

Of course, as it’s completely free, there are going to be a couple of limitations.

The main one being no behavior-based automation sequences.

For example, if you send an email, you can’t make it resend automatically based on whether they opened it or clicked a link.

But, hey it’s free, so you can’t complain.

Anything Else You Need To Know?

Not really, but you should make sure you are using a custom domain when sending emails.

The reason for this is if you are using a Gmail email to send automated emails, the emails will go straight to spam.

A custom domain will cost $10 or so, but if you don’t have a custom domain nobody is going to even see your emails.

If nobody sees your emails, then, nobody is going to open them or buy from you.

Best Practises For Getting Your Emails Delivered?

As you are looking for a free autoresponder for affiliate marketing, I am going to assume you are quite new.

For that reason, I just wanted to give you a little guidance on getting your emails delivered into the inbox which is really important for the reasons I mentioned earlier.

  1. Use a Custom Domain
  2. Test your emails & Tweak them
  3. Don’t send spammy emails
  4. Don’t use super-fancy templates
  5. Clean your list regularily

What Free Autoresponders For Affiliate Marketing Are Available?

Aweber is the only free autoresponder for affiliate marketing. Although MailerLite and MailChimp are free, they do not allow affiliate marketing.

This means, if you are looking for a free autoresponder for affiliate marketing, Aweber is your only option.

What Other Autoresponders For Affiliate Marketing Are Good?

Here are some other autoresponders that are good too, but they are not free.

  • GetResponse
  • ConvertKit
  • ActiveCampaign
  • Kartra
  • SendLane

If you want to read a full article on them, read: 6 Best Autoresponders For Affiliate Marketing

But, keep in mind they are not free, unlike Aweber.

Where To Find Free Traffic For Your Email List

Because you wanted a free autoresponder, I am guessing you want free traffic too.

So, here are some places you can find free traffic:

  • Facebook Groups
  • Reddit & Other Forums
  • Twitter
  • YouTube
  • Pinterest

When you’re starting out, I recommend just giving away a lead magnet to get people to opt-in to your list.

You can aim to get 10 people per day into the list per day by messaging or just engaging with people on the channels above. After 30 days, you will then have an email list of around 300 people per day which is great.

Free Autoresponder For Affiliate Marketing vs Paid: What’s The Difference?

The difference between a free autoresponder and a paid autoresponder other than the price are the features.

Here are some features you will only find in paid autoresponders:

But, some beginners who are just starting out might not need these, so the free autoresponder for affiliate marketing option Aweber, might work too.

Final Thoughts

As you can see, we do finally have a free autoresponder for affiliate marketing.

Yes, it’s not quite advanced and it does not offer all the features paid autoresponders do, but that’s why it’s free.

Considering it’s free, you really can’t complain, so why not give it a go?

  • Templates

The page builder is one of the easiest to use on the market and comes with over 100 full-page templates.

Kartra templates

Kartra Mail

Kartra mail is the autoresponder feature inside of Kartra

Despite Kartra offering so many features, it’s pretty much a normal autoresponder.

In fact, you could probably even say it’s better as it has more triggers available, as it’s inside of Kartra.

Kartra automation sequences

Due to it being so good, you definitely won’t have to integrate with a separate autoresponder.

Related: Sales Funnel Template (free to download)

Membership Sites

Looking to sell your course or create some sort of membership site?

Kartra lets you do that too. And, the best thing is, it’s inside of Kartra.

It has all the usual features you would expect like drip-feed content, so you won’t need an external membership site tool.

Kartra membership site examples

Kartra Video

Video hosting? Included in Kartra as well.

This is definitely nice for your sales page videos and membership sites, as you don’t want to host them somewhere like YouTube where they can click off.

Getting an external video hosting tool would usually cost you $99 per month due to high-bandwidth use, so this feature is pretty nice.

Kartra Helpdesks

To improve the customer experience of your pages, you can also use Kartra’s helpdesks.

This will allow visitors or customers to easily reach out for help if they need it.

Kartra Calendars

Need help booking appointments and managing your time? Kartra comes with a built-in calendar feature.

Kartra Affiliate Management & Marketplace

Kartra also lets you recruit and manage your affiliates.

Inside of this feature is also the marketplace feature which allows affiliates to find your product and apply to become affiliates (if you want them to). This will help you recruit more affiliates and therefor get more sales.

And, if you ever wanted to become an affiliate for a Kartra product yourself, you could also do so through the Kartra marketplace.

GetResponse Features

As I mentioned earlier, originally GetResponse was just an autoresponder.

However, that time has long past, it now has become a complete marketing system.

Email Automation

As you would expect, GetResponse comes with strong email marketing features like:

  • Autoresponder
  • Automation Sequences
  • Broadcast emails
  • Lead Tagging

All of these features are available in Kartra too.

Pretty standard for an autoresponder, but I do like GetResponse’s visual automation sequence editor a lot.

Getresponse automation workflows

Landing Pages & Templates

Next, we have landing pages & templates.

GetResponse comes with over 100 templates for you to design your landing & sales pages to help you collect more emails and sell more products.

GetResponse landing pages

The next feature GetResponse has to offer is pretty cool and unique.

It’s the auto funnel feature that helps you build your entire sales funnel.

GetResponse auto funnel will even track the ROI of your campaigns, so that is extremely strong.

Rarely have I seen an autoresponder that comes with a webinar feature.

Well, GetResponse does.

This means you can host free and paid webinars using GetResponse.

Lastly, we have the CRM.

GetResponse’s CRM tool helps you turn lead into sale from one visual and easy to use dashboard.

But, in case you are looking for the most advanced CRM tool, I have to disappoint you a little. It’s not quite advanced as a full CRM or ActiveCampaign’s CRM, you can read more on that here.

How Do Their Email Marketing & Funnel Tools Compare?

Something you’re probably wondering about is their funnel builder and email marketing tools.

GetResponse’s funnel builder is not quite as advanced as Karta’s and you would be missing out on these checkout features:

  • Order bumps
  • Upsells
  • Downsells
  • More checkout integrations

Kartra also has a much nicer editor and the pop-ups are a little more mobile-friendly from my experience at least.

In terms of email marketing, they are almost identical.

Kartra has a few more triggers as all features are inside of Kartra.

For example, you can trigger by:

  • Whether contact is an active affiliate
  • Whether contact has watched % of a sales video
  • Whether contact has completed section x of membership

As GetResponse doesn’t have these features, they don’t have the triggers. But, other than that, these two are identical.

Kartra Pricing

There are four main Kartra plans available, but you can request custom pricing if you need an Enterprise solution.

What I like about Kartra’s pricing is that you get access to all features across all plans, other than Kartra agency which is a feature that helps you manage clients’ accounts (and sell them).

Kartra Starter ($99 Per Month)

Kartra starter is the perfect plan for a lot of beginners.

Inside of Kartra starter, you will find ALL features other than Kartra agency.

Here are the limitations of this plan:

  • 50 GB Bandwidth
  • 2,500 Contacts
  • 15,000 Emails
  • 2 Membership sites
  •  100 Pages
  • 1 Helpdesk
  • 1 Custom domains
  • No Kartra agency

Kartra Silver ($199 Per Month)

The Kartra Silver plan will be the best plan for most businesses.

Here you do get access to Kartra agency and there are significantly fewer limits.

There are practically no limits to this plan other than:

  • 12,500 contacts
  • 3 Custom domains

You get unlimited of every other resource.

Kartra Gold ($299 Per Month)

Given that Kartra Silver comes with almost unlimited everything, you would expect Kartra Gold too.

And, that’s the case.

The only limits here are:

  • 25,000 contacts
  • 5 Custom Domains

Other than that, you get access to unlimited resources and all features.

Kartra Platinum ($499 Per Month)

Lastly, the Kartra Platinum plan just offers an option for established businesses.

Here the only limits are:

  • 10 Custom Domains
  • 50,000 Contacts

Again, there are no other limits.

GetResponse Pricing

GetResponse also has four pricing plans.

They update dynamically based on the number of contacts, where you are, and whether you pay annually, so I recommend just checking out the GetResponse website.

But, if you have less than 1,000 contacts you can also use the table below.

GetResponse pricing

One thing to note is that you do not get access to automation workflows in the $15 per month plan, so I would say it’s practically useless.

This means you would have to be on at least the $49 per month plan.

Kartra vs GetResponse: Main Differences

The main difference between Kartra and GetResponse is that Kartra has a lot more features. It’s also a little better when it comes to building landing and sales pages, while GetResponse has webinars and a little more advanced CRM feature.

Both options are incredibly good at what they do.

However, Kartra gives you more of an all-in-one feel, while GetResponse was originally just an autoresponder.

GetResponse is also a little more affordable compared to Kartra. But, if you need the features Kartra has to offer, going for Kartra is worth it.

Picking The Right Funnel Builder For You

Both Kartra and GetResponse are fantastic funnel builder tools.

They offer:

  • Great email marketing features
  • Easy-to-use Funnel builder
  • Competitively priced plans

However, they do differentiate a little when it comes to the features.

Here are some features only inside of Kartra:

  • Membership site builder
  • Video hosting
  • Kartra Calendar
  • Affiliate management
  • Order bumps
  • One-click Upsells & downsells

On the flip side, here are some features only available in GetResponse:

  • Visual CRM Editor
  • Auto-funnel (Kartra has most features inside of this)
  • Webinars

Which One Should You Choose?

Well, it depends on your business.

If you need the features inside of Kartra, go for Kartra.

Or, if you’re fine using the features that are in GetResponse, go for GetResponse.

If you’re not sure, then you probably won’t need the features like membership sites only in Kartra, so then you can go for GetResponse.

Final Thoughts

As you can see, both Kartra and GetResponse offer great solutions for businesses of all sizes.

If you wanted to, you could even go with Kartra and integrate with GetResponse via the API.

However I don’t see much point in this, as Kartra has all the email marketing features Kartra has.

It really comes down whether you need these features:

  • Membership site builder
  • Video hosting
  • Kartra Calendar
  • Affiliate management
  • Order bumps
  • One-click Upsells & downsells

If you do, go with Kartra.

And, if you don’t, then GetResponse can be a just as good option while being more affordable.

Why I Recommend Savage Affiliates 2.0

I am a big fan of Savage Affiliates 2.0. which is obviously the affiliate marketing course from Franklin Hatchett’s courses.

By no means am I saying you should get it if you want to Dropshipping, then, of course, go for E-com Elites.

But, if you’re stuck between Dropshipping or affiliate marketing, I would recommend going for Savage affiliates 2.0 as it requires a much smaller budget and you have more options.

There are many success stories from complete beginners which is always great too.

Plus, there are 30 hours of video training for just $197, I don’t think you will find that sort of value anywhere else.

When I joined Savage Affiliates 2.0 last year, I was only really interested in the SEO part, I didn’t really watch anything else.

Since then, it has been updated quite a lot too, but I have been extremely busy with my blogs, so I haven’t actually watched the new parts, but I have been told they are great too.

For me, it was more than worth it, I learned some great tips around OFF-Page SEO, link-building especially and getting premium links.

I also gave the account password to a friend to watch a little of it and he actually helps me on most of my sites now and has a great understanding of SEO and building websites.

So, if you’re looking for a low-cost course to get you started with affiliate marketing, I highly recommend Savage Affiliates 2.0 as it’s a great course.

Final Thoughts on Franklin Hatchett Courses

As you can see, both Savage Affiliates 2.0 and E-Com Elites are some of the best affiliate marketing courses.

Franklin Hatchett started off as an affiliate and has grown over 5 very successful blogs and of course his 320K subscriber YouTube channel, so he is a true expert when it comes to Affiliate marketing and content creation.

But, of course, he has also had great success in Dropshipping which is also shown by his feature in Entrepreneur magazine where he was described as an E-Commerce expert.

So, I would recommend picking between one of the courses and start building your online business!

Kartra vs ConvertKit: Which One Is Best For You?

Two commonly used pieces of software to build an online business are Kartra and ConvertKit.

Today, we’re going to be comparing both of these two solutions to see what they have to offer.

Let’s take a look and see which one is better suited for your business.

What is Kartra?
Kartra png

Kartra is an all-in-one solution that helps its customers build an online business.

Kartra didn’t launch until 2018, but Genesis Digital the company behind Kartra was founded in 2013.

Despite not launching until 2018, it’s already one of the best sales funnel builders on the market. In my review of Kartra, I went into detail explaining how to use the software for your online business, feel free to check that out.

What is ConvertKit?

ConvertKit is an email marketing service provider founded in January 2013.

It’s on its way to becoming not only one of the best autoresponders for affiliate marketing but also for content creators in general.

It offers comprehensive email marketing features and also some advanced features to help you send and collect emails on autopilot.

Kartra Features

As I mentioned earlier, Kartra is a true all-in-one platform.

This means it comes with a little more features than ConvertKit, as you can see below.

Page-Builder, Forms, Funnels & Templates

Firstly, we have the easy-to-use page builder which of course comes with quite a lot of templates (100).

The page builder comes with templates for all kinds of different templates such as:

  • Upsell pages
  • Login pages
  • Legal Pages
  • And many more, as you can see below.

Kartra Templates

Kartra is also a funnel builder, so you can build your entire funnel inside of Kartra.

Another feature here is the ability to create forms and pop-ups which are also incredibly easy to integrate with external pages.

You can even just copy and paste the code of the form and you’re good to go.

Advanced Checkouts

Kartra Checkouts are extremely advanced.

They include features such as:

  • Order-bumps
  • 1 Click-upsells & downsells
  • Templates for the checkouts

Email Marketing

Kartra has great email marketing tools which let you stay connected with your customer.

Despite, ConvertKit being an autoresponder, Kartra matches the email features.

Inside of Kartra, you will find split-testing inside of automation workflows, as well as features such as lead tagging

Just like your normal autoresponder, right? In fact, Kartra actually has more triggers, as it’s connected to Kartra.

For example, you can give your contact a tag if they:

  • Are an active affiliate
  • Have watched X % of your sales video
  • Have refunded X product

These are triggers that will not be available in most autoresponders, including ConvertKit.

It may be available with tons of different integrations, but I am not sure.

Membership Sites

Kartra offers a great membership site feature to help you create and sell online courses.

Again, the beauty of this is that it’s all inside of Kartra

So, you can tag your lead based on whether they have finished watching X video from your course.

Video Hosting

And, of course, there won’t be any need for an external video hosting provider such as Wistia, as Kartra has one built-in.

You can even add CTA’s inside of your videos, so it’s pretty much the same as Wistia.

Affiliate Management & Marketplace

Recruiting & managing affiliates to help you make more sales? Kartra does that too.

You actually even get access to the marketplace where affiliates can find your product (if you want them to). This can help you get more affiliates and therefore, more sales.

If you ever wanted to find some affiliate products, you could also use the marketplace.

You also don’t need an external Calendar app such as Calendly, as Kartra has one built-in.

Again, the beauty of this is that it’s from the same dashboard as all your other tools.

Kartra has a couple of more features inside of the features, but the final main feature is the helpdesk tool.

Using Kartra, you can easily connect Helpdesks into your pages which will allow you to just give your users a better experience as it will be easier to contact you.

ConvertKit Features

ConvertKit does not quite have as many features as Kartra, but they do offer enough features to get your email list going.

Email Marketing

As you would expect, ConvertKit comes with great email marketing features.

ConvertKit has all the features that you would expect from an email autoresponder such as:

  • Automation workflows
  • Split-testing
  • Lead tagging

Pretty useful, but also standard for an autoresponder.

Landing Pages

Next, we have the landing pages and this is a feature that is great to have. Why?

Because you need to collect emails and you won’t need an external tool to create a landing page.

Of course, you can still use anything else such as your WordPress website or another funnel-builder if you wanted to.

Just like in Kartra, you can also create your own forms and also integrate these with any other external pages.

ConvertKit also comes with many templates for your email and landing pages, allowing you to easily create your pages and emails quickly.

ConvertKit templates

Kartra Pricing

Kartra has four main pricing plans, but Enterprise plans are available upon request.

What’s great about Kartra’s pricing plans is that you get access to all features across all plans, other than Kartra agency which I will explain later on.

Kartra Starter ($99 Per Month)

Kartra starter can be the perfect plan for a lot of start-ups.

It comes with ALL features other than Kartra agency.

The only limits of this plan are the resources, which are:

  • 50 GB Bandwidth
  • 2,500 Contacts
  • 15,000 Emails
  • 2 Membership sites
  •  100 Pages
  • 1 Helpdesk
  • 1 Custom domains

Kartra Silver ($199 Per Month)

Next, is the Kartra Silver Plan which I believe will be the perfect plan for most businesses.

Here you do get access to Kartra agency and there are significantly fewer limits.

The only limits in this plan are:

  • 12,500 contacts
  • 3 Custom domains

You get unlimited of all other resources.

Kartra Gold ($299 Per Month)

Next, we have Kartra Gold.

Again, the only limits on this plan are:

  • 25,000 contacts
  • 5 Custom Domains

Other than that, you get access to unlimited resources and all features.

Kartra Platinum ($499 Per Month)

Lastly, we have the Kartra Platinum plan.

Here the only limits are:

  • 10 Custom Domains
  • 50,000 Contacts

Other than that, there are no limits.

ConvertKit Pricing

ConvertKit does have a free plan, but it’s a little limited.

I also won’t be able to show you the full pricing as it heavily depends on the contacts and ConvertKit has a dynamic pricing table.

ConvertKit Free

Firstly we have the free plan.

In the free plan, you get to build unlimited landing pages and can send broadcast emails.

However, the main limitation is that you do not get any automation sequences.

You can have up to 1000 contacts on this plan.

ConvertKit Complete

The other plan is ConvertKit complete where you get access to all features.

This plan will cost $29 per month for 1,000 contacts.

If you need any more, then check out the pricing table on the website.

Kartra vs ConvertKit: Main Differences

The main differences between ConvertKit and Kartra are that while ConvertKit is significantly lower-priced, Kartra comes with a lot more features. Using Kartra you can also sell your products and create membership sites whereas with ConvertKit you cannot.

Here is a list of features inside of Kartra which you will not find in ConvertKit:

  • Membership site builder
  • Page builder (ConvertKit just has landing pages vs Kartra’s sales, legal, etc.)
  • Helpdesks
  • Calendar
  • Affiliate management
  • Kartra Checkouts

ConvertKit you get all the tools you need to build a list. Kartra gives you all the tools you need to build a business.

Note: For a limited time, you can actually get an EXTENDED Kartra Trial! Full instructions here.

Final Thoughts

Both Kartra and ConvertKit can be great options for businesses of all sizes.

While Kartra has some more advanced features and can probably help more in terms of building your entire sales funnel, ConvertKit can also offer a perfect option for affiliates and content creators just starting out.

I hope this article has been helpful in your choice between Kartra and ConvertKit.

Commission Hero vs Savage Affiliates: Surprising Winner!

Affiliate marketing is a great business and you want to learn it.

But, which course should you buy?

In this article, we’re going to be comparing Commission Hero vs Savage Affiliates to help you find the best option for you.

Let’s take a look!

Refund Policies

Before we continue, I just wanted to make the refund policies clear, as you should be aware of them.

Keep in mind these are just SUMMARIES of the refund policies, so you should take a look at the T&C’s yourself for more info.

Commission Hero has a strange refund policy.

You can only request a refund after 12 months for a 7 day period.

This is so that they can be sure the student was serious about starting.

Just make sure you are aware of this when purchasing.

There is a 30-day ACTION-based money-back guarantee for Savage Affiliates.

Here is what the student has to have done in order to gain a refund:

  • The member has logged into the training at least once. (We check this so you don’t need to do anything here)
  • The member has watched at least 50% of the training. (We check this so you don’t need to do anything here)
  • The member has joined the private Facebook group. (We check this so you don’t need to do anything here)
  • The member has made an effort to Start a live Website or Youtube Channel or blog or funnel or any other type of website or funnel we teach in this training.

What’s Taught Inside of Commission Hero?

Commission Hero is primarily focused on Facebook Ads, but also teaches some related topics.

Of course, email marketing and building landing pages are key for affiliate marketing with Facebook Ads, so those topics are heavily taught too.

But, it also touches on Snapchat ads which can work great too.

It does also explain briefly how to find affiliate products outside of ClickBank, but the main focus of affiliate programs is ClickBank.

These are the only topics the course teaches, but it teaches them extremely well.

Robby Blanchard is the #1 ClickBank affiliate and from all the affiliate marketing courses out there, his students get some of the best results.

However, note that you will need at least $20 per day to spend on Facebook Ads and $99 per month to spend on software.

What’s Taught Inside of Savage Affiliates?

Savage Affiliates 2.0 is more of a complete affiliate marketing course in the sense that it teaches pretty much every main method you need to know.

This includes:

  • SEO/Blogging
  • YouTube
  • Landing pages
  • Email marketing
  • Amazon Associates
  • Solo Ads
  • Clickbank
  • Launch Jacking
  • Facebook Group
  • ClickFunnels module (Only in Upsell)
  • Done-for-you campaigns (Only in Upsell)

As you can see, you will get some strong knowledge in pretty much all the affiliate marketing methods there are.

Inside of Savage Affiliates, you do also get some done-for-you campaigns which you can use, so for those of you that like minimum amounts of work this could be a great option.

However, if you do decide to join Savage Affiliates I would like to make one thing clear.

This course teaches you so much that it’s quite easy to get overwhelmed by all of the content.

So, you should just stick to one method and one method only.

Of course, you can switch between methods (a little) to find the best option for you, but you don’t want to try and start all of these different methods at once.

Franklin has done a fantastic job teaching every method, but you need to focus to succeed in any of them. If you would like a full review of it, check out my Savage affiliates review

How Much Money Do You Need To Start The Methods In Each Course?

Of course, affiliate marketing is a business, so you should take into account how much money you will need to start it.

Let’s take a look at how much you will need.

Commission Hero

As I did mention earlier to follow Robby Blanchard’s course you will need at least $20 per day for Ads and $99 per month for the software.

You would be looking at around $700 per month in total, but you should be able to see returns fairly quickly (usually around 30-60 days).

Where did I get these numbers from?

Robby Blanchard says it himself in one of his ads; “You can start this from anywhere from $20 per day”.

You may be able to get away with a little less, but I am not sure.

Savage Affiliates 2.0

On the flip side, Franklin teaches many different methods, so it depends on the method.

Some methods such as YouTube don’t require any money at all (other than video editing software, but even that can be found for free).

Likewise, SEO blogging can be started for practically $0, as you would only need hosting.

However, I would personally recommend a budget from at least $30 per month for better results.

If you want to do anything with paid ads, there would be a similar budget needed as Commission hero ($10 – $20 per day).

How Much Do They Cost?

As I did mention in the brief overview of both Savage Affiliates and Commission Hero, there is a significant pricing difference between both courses.

Commission Hero Pricing

Commission Hero only has one main pricing plan, but there is one upsell.

  • Commission Hero Standard $997
  • “The Inner Circle” – $297 per month

Inside of the standard Commission Hero, you get access to all of the video training and modules mentioned earlier.

But, there is one upsell which is a coaching program.

It’s called “The Inner Circle” and it’s basically a group coaching program with some of Robby’s Campaigns.

I’m not a member of this myself, but here’s what you receive from my understanding:

  • Robby’s Campaigns (including Facebook audiences)
  • Weekly live streams where he answers your questions.
  • Another separate Facebook Group

Is it worth it? Probably, I mean you get his campaigns and even the Facebook audiences.

But, it is annoying getting a $297 upsell pitched to you after you just spent $997 on a course, so I thought I should warn you here.

Savage Affiliates Pricing

Savage Affiliates also has one main pricing plan and one upsell.

  • Standard Savage Affiliates $197
  • Upsell $97

What’s inside of the upsell?

  • Done-for-you funnels ready to use (with emails)
  • Entire module about ClickFunnels

Is it worth it? If you want to promote ClickFunnels, yes!

There are four done-for-you funnels which promote a variety of products from ClickBank or ClickFunnels.

The beauty of these campaigns is that you can take them and promote them any way you like.

Benefits of Commission Hero

Let’s talk over the benefits of Commission Hero vs Savage Affiliates.

  • Laser-focused on one method can increase the success rate
  • Taught by a true expert of Facebook Ads
  • Very results-driven (which has a bad effect on the refund policy)

Benefits of Savage Affiliates

Here are some of the benefits of Savage Affiliates vs Commission Hero:

  • Much lower-priced ($197 vs $997)
  • More content
  • Teaches much more than how to promote ClickBank products
  • Teaches many more methods, so you can find something that works for you
  • Taught by a true content creation and YouTube ads expert
  • Better refund policy

Commission Hero vs Savage Affiliates: Key Differences

Here are the key differences between Savage affiliates and Commission Hero:

  • Savage Affiliates is significantly lower-priced.
  • Commission Hero only focuses on paid ads such as Facebook, while Savage Affiliates teaches other traffic too.
  • Savage Affiliates has a better refund policy.
  • Commission Hero can be less overwhelming compared to Savage Affiliates
  • The methods taught inside of Commission Hero need a bigger investment

Which One Is Better For You?

This is entirely dependant on you.

But, I would say if Facebook Ads is what you want to specialize in, go for Robby Blanchard’s Commission Hero.

I know quite a lot of people inside of Savage Affiliates and very few of them do anything with Facebook Ads.

Mostly, they are all bloggers with a couple of YouTubers too.

This is because the main part of Franklin Hatchet’s training is focused on content creation.

But, at the same time, if you want to learn about content creation, ClickFunnels or you’re not sure yet, I would recommend going for Savage Affiliates.

If you’re still unsure after this, leave a comment below and I will be sure to help you out.

Who Takes The Crown?

Overall, it’s going to have to be Franklin Hatchett’s Savage Affiliates.

He simply has a course that is 5x lower the price with more content.

Sorry, Robby.

But, if you’re looking to learn Facebook Ads, you should go for Robby’s Commission Hero.

Robby Blanchard is simply the best at Facebook Ads, so if that’s what you want to specialize in, you should learn from him.

If this battle would be just looking at the Facebook Ads training though, Robby Blanchard’s course would beat this training and probably any other affiliate marketing with Facebook Ads Training out there.

Final Thoughts

As you have seen throughout this comparison, both Savage affiliates and Commission Hero are one of the best affiliate marketing courses.

Although I have declared Franklin Hatchett’s Savage Affiliates as the winner, Commission Hero may be a better option for you.

If you want to learn Facebook Ads, then it definitely is.

But, overall they are both great courses and the content inside is content that can get you results if you put in the effort.

GetResponse vs MailerLite: Who Takes The Crown?

Email marketing is one of the best ways to market your business.

But, before you can get started with email marketing, you’re going to need an autoresponder and probably a landing page or some sort of place to collect emails.

That’s why we’re going to be comparing GetResponse vs MailerLite as these are both two autoresponders that offer both these features.

Who will take the crown? Let’s find out.

What Is GetResponse?

GetResponse is an email autoresponder founded in 1998.

Since then it has become much more than just an email autoresponder, it has become a complete marketing system.

It’s also one of the most popular email marketing service providers on the market.

What Is MailerLite?

MailerLite is also an email autoresponder which is becoming increasingly popular among marketers.

Unlike GetResponse, it wasn’t founded in 2010.

However, it is rapidly growing and also has great email marketing and landing page features.

GetResponse Features

As I have mentioned earlier, GetResponse is a complete marketing system.

This means, it has quite a lot of features, so I have broken them down into the core features.

Email Marketing Features

As you would expect, GetResponse has powerful email marketing tools.

GetResponse’s email marketing features include:

  • Autoresponder
  • Workflows
  • Lead-tagging
  • Lead-scoring
  • Split-testing
  • Advanced Analytics

GetResponse gives you everything you need to send analytics-driven and automated emails.

Landing Pages

GetResponse also has a landing page feature.

It comes with 150+ beautiful templates that are extremely easy-to-edit.

The next feature is the auto-funnel feature.

This feature allows you to create your entire marketing funnel in one easy-to-use application.

It comes with a template for each type of funnel and all you need to do is add in the assets which you would like to include in the marketing funnel.

GetResponse AUtofunnel

You can even configure settings such as the cost of the traffic so that it can calculate your ROI.

And, that’s not all…

If you’re in B2B niches, it even comes with some done-for-you Lead magnets on topics such as Conversion-optimization.

This feature is also one of the reasons, GetResponse made my list of best funnel builders.

Next, we have the CRM function.

CRM stands for customer relationship management.

GetResponse comes with a visual CRM pipeline tool which is great, as you don’t need to integrate it with your autoresponder as GetResponse is your autoresponder.

However, it’s not quite advanced as an actual CRM or ActiveCampaigns CRM. If you would like to read more about that you can read my comparison of ActiveCampaign vs GetResponse.

MailerLite Features

MailerLite has also become a little more than an Autoresponder.

It has the following features

  • Email Marketing
  • Landing pages

Email Marketing

In terms of email marketing, MailerLite is quite similar to GetResponse.

It comes with everything you would expect from your normal email marketing software.

  • Automation-workflows
  • Split-testing
  • Lead-tagging
  • Analytics

MailerLite does not have a lead scoring feature. This feature is only available in GetResponse

However, I would say that the editor and email templates are a little superior over GetResponse.

If you are the kind of person to send visual emails, then this could be an advantage.

Landing Pages

Next, we have the landing pages.

MailerLite also has many great templates that are super-easy to edit.

There are over 25+ landing page templates which is quite low, but fine as you can easily edit them.

What About Deliverability?

Deliverability is a key part of email marketing.

There are many studies that show that GetResponse has a 95%+ Deliverability rate.

However, I always like to use the data from private studies, as I feel these are more accurate.

Here is what was found in a study by email tool tester:

  • MailerLite 78.4%
  • GetResponse 75.6%

Both of these figures are around the average. If you’re super-bothered about deliverability, I recommend taking a look at ActiveCampaign.

However, as long as you follow the best practices, you should not have any deliverability issues.

And, it’s not like the Deliverability rates of Mailerlite and GetResponse are terrible, they are industry average.

GetResponse Pricing

Just like most autoresponders, GetResponse pricing table is dynamic depending on number of leads and stuff like that.

If you’re just starting out and have under 1,000 leads then you can use the pricing table below.

However for a full pricing table, please visit the GetResponse website.

MailerLite Pricing

It’s the exact same with MailerLite, so I recommend checking out the website if you need more than 1,000 contacts.

As you can see, you can actually get started for completely free.

How Good Is MailerLite FREE?

If you’re just starting out, the free plan probably looks quite interesting to you.

And, it should.

It has all the features you need (automation workflows, landing pages, etc.) and the limitations are minimal.

Here are the main limitations of the free plan:

  • No custom domains
  • No support other than email
  • No removing MailerLite branding at bottom of your emails
  • No auto-resend or deliver by timezone

There are a couple of other things too, but I suggest just heading over to the official website for more detail.

GetResponse vs MailerLite: Main Differences

GetResponse is a full marketing system that comes with more features than MailerLite. MailerLite comes with landing pages and everything you need for Email marketing, but GetResponse also comes with sales funnel and CRM functions.

However, MailerLite will be enough for some people, as it offers great features for beginners. It also has a completely free plan which is the best free email marketing plan out there.

On the flip side, GetResponse has some of the best overall marketing features on the market.

Who Takes The Crown?

Of course, if you want to go by overall feature-wise it’s going to be GetResponse.

However, for a lot of people, beginners especially, MailerLite will be the preferred option.

So, overall GetResponse but for anyone only needing landing pages and email marketing tools, it would have to be MailerLite.

Either way, both of these options are great for their own purpose.

If you need all the marketing bells & whistles go for GetResponse.

If you’re only looking for email marketing tools and landing pages, go for MailerLite

Features inside of GetResponse, not available in MailerLite

GetResponse has all the features Mailerlite has, but also has some additional ones.

Here’s some features which are only available in GetResponse:

  • CRM
  • Auto-funnel
  • Lead scoring

These features are not available in MailerLite.

Free Trials?

As I have mentioned throughout this article, MailerLite does have a free plan. Feel free to check that out too.

GetResponse on the other hand has a 30-day free trial.

If you feel that GetResponse is the right option for you, feel free to give it a go using the link below.

Final Thoughts

I hope you have enjoyed the comparison between GetResponse and MailerLite.

As you have seen throughout this article, they are both great options for businesses of all sizes.

The only difference was that GetResponse has some added features, while MailerLite is significantly lower priced.

Kartra Forms In WordPress

Kartra Forms in WordPress have the benefit that you can design them inside of Kartra, but use them on your WordPress blog.

Your exisiting WordPress blog probably gets some traffic, but you want to use Kartra forms as they convert extremely well.

What Do You Need To Use Kartra Forms In WordPress?

All you will need to use Kartra Forms in WordPress are:

  • Your WordPress Blog
  • Kartra Account
  • Elementor (or another pop-up plugin)

You can also use Thrive leads or any other pop-up plugin that lets you insert code.

I personally use Elementor for this purpose, but you can use something else.

You may need the paid version of Elementor (I don’t think so) but you can use any other Popup plugin that lets you insert code.

How To Use Kartra Forms In WordPress

Here are the 5 steps to using Kartra Forms in WordPress:

  1. Create Form
  2. Design Form
  3. Take The Javascript Code
  4. Paste Into Elementor
  5. Configure Visibility Settings

And, then Publish!

Step 1: Create Form

Firstly, you will want to create your form in Kartra.

To do this, just head over to “My forms”

Then click the green “+” symbol (bottom right-hand corner)

Now, enter the name and other basic details about your form (form fields, confirmation etc.)

However, when you are on the “design form” step, select “I will embed form on 3rd party page” as shown in the image below.

Step 2: Design The Form

Now, click “launch the builder” to design your form.

Once you have designed your form, configure the rest of the settings until you are on the “finish settings” step.

Step 3: Take The Javascript Code

Here you will want to take the Javascript code and copy it.

You can take the HTML, but it won’t have any styling, so I suggest taking the Javascript.

Step 4: Take The Code and Paste Into Elementor

Now, go to Elementor and go to “Templates” and select Popups, as shown in the image below.

Then click “Create new”.

Once you are on the screen to select templates, just click the cross in the top right hand corner.

Now, search for “HTML” in the widgets and drag it onto your pop up (don’t worry, it reads Javascript too).

Both of these HTML options do the same thing.

Once you have pasted it, click publish and then go to the next step.

Step 5: Configure Visibility Settings

Now, you just need to configure your visibility settings (where your form is shown).

Select the categories, posts, or wherever you want your form to be shown.

You can also configure the triggers of when your form should be shown (i.e on Click, % scrolled, etc.)

Once you have completed all the previous steps, click Publish and you should be good to go.

If you want to test to see if your pop up is working correctly, head over to the selected part of your website in a new incognito tab (or private search, where you are not logged in), then see if the form appears on your trigger.
