It’s known to have some of the most advanced automation features on the market.

GetResponse Review: Features
Here is a list of GetResponses features:
- -Email creation and design
- -Contact management
- -Automation workflows
- -Web forms
- -Landing pages
Now let’s take a detailed look at each of these features:
Email Creation and Design:
GetResponse offers a visual drag & drop email builder that makes it easy to create beautiful newsletters, sales emails, and automated emails. You can also use their pre-designed email templates, which are categorized by industry and type of email.
It lets you add:
And other elements
When I used the email builder I was surprised at how easy it was to use. I expected it to be more complicated given the range of features on offer. But you can easily add images, videos, buttons, and other elements to your emails.
You can also track the open rate, link clicks, and other metrics from your GetResponse emails… Pretty sweet but standard.
GetResponse lets you easily create segments of your email list based on:
- subscriber activity
This makes it possible to send highly targeted emails that are more likely to result in sales conversions.
I love this feature because it helps you send more targeted emails which in turn leads to more sales. It’s one of the features that really sets GetResponse apart from the competition.
Competitors like Aweber are really behind in this department, and GetResponse does a great job in helping you match your message to your target audience.
The contact management feature in GetResponse helps you keep track of all your leads and customers in one place.
You can add contacts manually or import them from a file, and then organize them into groups. This makes it easy to keep track of all your leads and customers in one place.
I found this feature really helpful because it made it easy to keep track of all my leads and customers in one place. It’s also great because it enables you to filter out the cold leads from the warm leads.
Furthermore, you can set up automated email sequences for different groups of contacts, which is a great way to nurture leads and convert them into customers.
As you probably know this increases your conversion rate
GetResponse lets you create automation workflows that help you automate your marketing tasks.
There are over 100 built-in automation that covers a range of activities such as sending welcome emails, abandoned cart emails, and lead nurturing emails.
You can also create custom automation workflows with the GetResponse Visual Workflow Builder.
The workflow builder is really easy to use and lets you quickly create complex automation without any coding.
One of my favorite automation is the “Welcome Email” automation. This is a template that GetResponse offers alongside 100’s of other templates ready for you to steal.
Plus, these automation workflows are behavior-based. This means you can set a trigger, and when it happens automatically take an action such as:
- Sending an email
- Adding a tag to the contact
- Updating the contact’s profile information.
Some examples of behavioral triggers include:
- When a contact subscribes to a list
- When a contact clicks on a link in an email
- When a contact makes a purchase.
I think this is an amazing feature, and it’s one of the things that sets GetResponse apart from other email marketing platforms.
For example, this type of automation isn’t possible with competitors like Aweber or SendFox.
Overall, I’m really impressed with GetResponse’s automation capabilities. It’s one of the main reasons why I decided to switch from Aweber to GetResponse.
GetResponse offers a range of web forms that you can embed on your website or blog.
You can create simple forms or complex forms with a range of fields, and you can also add custom CSS to make the form look visually stunning.
I found the web form builder to be really easy to use, and I was able to create a complex form in just a few minutes. Plus, you can embed the form on your website or blog with just a few clicks.
Overall, I’m really impressed with GetResponse’s web form builder. It’s one of the main reasons why I decided to switch from Aweber to GetResponse.
Landing Page Builder
The landing page builder in GetResponse is awesome. It ‘s really easy to use and you can create beautiful landing pages in just a few minutes.
Plus, the landing page builder is fully integrated with the email marketing platform, which means you can easily collect leads from your landing pages and add them to your email list.
Some of the elements you can use are:
- Forms & Checkouts
- Social Media Icons.
I found the landing page builder to be really easy to use, and I was able to create a beautiful landing page in just a few minutes. Plus, it even comes with built-in stock photos and icons you can use.
You can also integrate the Landing page builder with the main payment processors like Stripe or Paypal.
Plus, you can add your Google analytics tags and integrate it with advanced analytics platforms like KissMetrics or Mixpanel.
Overall, I’m really impressed with GetResponse’s landing page builder. It’s one of the main reasons it’s my favorite dedicated email marketing tools.
What I Don’t Like About The GetResponse Landing Page Builder
Although it’s overall easy to use, it feels clunky at times… For example, you can build a landing page in 10 minutes, then run into a small issue that costs you 10 minutes too.
An example of this is that you have to build the landing page for Desktop first… And optimize it for mobile after.
Other landing page builders let you build both in one.
Landing Page Templates:
GetResponse offers a range of landing page templates that you can use to create beautiful landing pages in minutes.
The templates are really easy to use, and you can customize them with your own images and text.
Plus, the landing page builder is fully integrated with the email marketing platform, which means you can easily collect leads from.
GetResponse Conversion Funnel
GetResponse Conversion Funnels (previously known as Autofunnel), is a powerful tool that lets you create custom conversion funnels for your website or blog.
You can use it to track the progress of your customers and build out high-converting sales funnels.
The GetResponse Conversion Funnel is really easy to use, and it’s a great way to increase your conversion rate.
It really helps you visualize the journey that your customer goes through, which helps you make tweaks to it.
You can even see some really useful metrics such as:
- Bounce Rate
- Exit %
- Pages per visit
- Avg. Visit Duration
- % New Visits. I found
And most importantly… Your customer lead value.
What’s so cool about this is that once you know your lead value, you can advertise for anything under that amount to grow your list rapidly.
For example, if you know one lead is worth $63, you can offer a free ebook to get them on your list, and spend an average of $10 per lead to get a 6.3 ROI.
Overall, I’m really impressed with GetResponse’s conversion funnel tool. It’s one of the main reasons it’s my favorite dedicated email marketing tool.
GetResponse Lead Magnets
GetResponse has an automated lead magnet delivery system that takes the hassle out of delivering lead magnet files to your audience.
For example, if you have a free ebook as a lead magnet, you can set up an automated system that will deliver the ebook to your customer’s inbox as soon as they sign up for your email list…
Without having to mess around with download links.
This is a really cool feature, and it’s something that I haven’t seen in any of the other email marketing tools I’ve used.
