Kartra vs Teachable: Which One Is Better For Your Course?

Creating an online course can be pretty profitable and fun.

But, picking the platform which you want to host your course on can be quite a hard decision.

Today, we’re going to compare Kartra vs Teachable, which are both two great solutions to host your online course.

For this comparison, I am going to assume that your main focus is hosting your course, due to the nature of Teachable.

This means I won’t go into too much detail for less relevant features

KArtra vs Teachable: Everything you need to know

Kartra vs Teachable: Main Differences

The main differences between Kartra and Teachable are that Teachable’s main focus is people selling courses, whereas Kartra gives you all the tools you need for the rest of your online business.

Using Teachable, you will need to purchase more external software to run your entire business, whereas with Kartra you will not.

Kartra Features

As you probably already know, Kartra is packed with useful features.

Not only that, but they are also all incredibly useful if you are looking to sell your own course. If Kartra is something that you want to learn more about through an in-depth post, check out my Kartra review.

Page Builder, Sales Funnels & Templates

Firstly, we have the page builder, sales funnels, and templates.

Kartra pages will give you everything you need to convert your visitor from a visitor to a sale.

There are over 500 beautiful templates that are super easy-to-edit.

These templates range from pages for your sales pages to your legal pages and even 404 Errors, so you won’t be needing any additional templates!

Sales Funnel Tools

Kartra also comes with comprehensive sales funnel tools like:

  • Order bumps
  • One-click upsells
  • One-click downsells

Of course, these can have huge advantages, especially if you’re selling info-products.

You can also create discounts and coupons.

Kartra Mail / Autoresponder

Next, we have the autoresponder within Kartra, which also has huge advantages.

It offers all the features you would expect from your normal autoresponder such as:

Again, Kartra has done a fantastic job here, as you won’t need an autoresponder.

Membership Sites

Membership sites are probably the feature that you are the most interested in, right?

Kartra does have a great membership site builder, it’s easy to use and has some pretty advanced features:

  • Progress-tracking
  • Drip-feed content
  • Comments & comment control
  •  Tagging inside based on view time and other triggers
  • Content protection based on Progress
  • Advanced analytics
  • Automated membership management

As you can see, Kartra goes above and beyond, even in memberships.

Video Hosting

You won’t be needing Wistia or Vimeo with Kartra, as Kartra lets you host your own videos.

This means, for your courses, you can host the videos on Kartra and even add your own clickable CTA’s inside of the video.

If you’re selling courses or creating any type of video-based membership site, then this feature is huge.

Affiliate Management & Marketplace

Another great feature inside of Kartra is the affiliate management & marketplace.

You can not only recruit and manage affiliates, but they can also find you through the affiliate marketplace (if you want them to).

Again, a useful feature if you are selling courses.

Helpdesks

You can also connect helpdesks which can also be a great feature to improve your customer experience.

Calendar

I wasn’t really going to go into too much detail about the Calendar, but I figured people who are selling courses often also offer coaching or consulting.

For these people, the Kartra calendar can definitely be useful, as it’s just like the calendar you would get from somewhere else like Squarespace.

You can send it to your prospects or even leave it on your website and they can book appointments.

Teachable Features

Now, let’s take a look at Teachable’s features.

As I mentioned earlier, they are much more focused on the membership/course features, as that’s their purpose.

Obviously, as membership sites are the main purpose of Teachable, I’m going to be talking more about the features inside of the membership sites.

Learning Tools

Teachable comes with a lot of features to help your students learn.

  • Feedback

Your students can always give you feedback helping you create a better membership

  • Certificates

With Teachable, you can also give your students Certificates, which shows that they have completed your course.

  • Quizzes

You can also quiz your students which is pretty cool and can be useful.

Analytics

Teachable also has some great reporting tools which allow you to see your revenue and signups over a specific period of time.

Another thing that you can monitor is your course completion rates to see where you can improve.

Marketing Tools

Finally, Teachable also comes with marketing tools to help you sell your course.

This includes:

  • Landing & Sales pages
  • Affiliate management
  • Coupons
  • One-time fee or subscription billing

Of course, it’s not quite as advanced as all the features that Kartra has to offer, but these marketing tools are still great.

Membership Site Comparison

As you are comparing Kartra with Teachable, I figured that membership sites are probably your main interest.

Below, you will find a table explaining what each software does well.

KartraTeachable
  • Built-in powerful autoresponder
  • Built-in Helpdesk tool
  • Better Sales funnel tools
  • Built-in Calendar tool
  • Built-in video-hosting
  • More marketing/page builder options
  • No transaction fees (on all plans)
  • Quizzes
  • Certificates
  • Feedback
  • Little more customization inside the membership

From this table, you should be able to pick out a winner that suits your course best.

Kartra has better tools for business, while Teachable has a few more added features for teaching.

Extended Kartra Trial

For a limited time, you can actually get an extended trial (30 days instead of 14) by following the instructions below.

Step 1: Use this link

Step 2: Click “Start your trial”

Step 3: Wait for the page to be fully loaded, then pretend to navigate off the page

Step 4: Accept the exit pop-up to get the 30-day trial.

Teachable does not offer a trial.

Integrations

Integrations is a bit of a weird category, as with Kartra you will probably not need them, at all.

Kartra also provides you with the API key (outbound & inbound) which you can usually also connect with most software.

Here is a list of native integrations (No API or Code needed)

  • Braintree
  • Stripe
  • Paypal
  • Authorize.net
  • Mailgun
  • SendGrid
  • Elastic Email
  • PostMark
  • Digital Access Pass
  • OptimizePress
  • aMember
  • S2Member
  • WishList
  • Kajabi
  • Twillio
  • Nexmo
  • Plivo
  • Google Calendar
  • Zapier

But, keep in mind Kartra can probably integrate with a lot of other software if you did need to with their API.

Teachable Integrations

From my understanding, Teachable integrations are fairly limited.

Teachable integrates directly with:

  • Mailchimp
  • Convertkit
  • Zapier
  • Sumo
  • Segment
  • Google Analytics

This means for most of their integrations, you’re going to have to use Zapier.

Kartra Pricing

Kartra starts at $99 per month.

But, even in this plan, you get access to ALL features, apart from Kartra agency.

20-25% Annual discounts are available too.

Kartra agency is a feature that allows you to manage your client’s account while also selling seperate Kartra accounts, but getting them at a discounted price.

Other than on the starter plan, this feature is included in all plans too.

What I also like about Kartra is that other than on the starter plan, they don’t limit you with Bandwidth or emails, like they used to.

The only limit is contacts which is pretty standard for most autoresponders.

Teachable Pricing

Teachable starts at a much lower $39 per month, but it just doesn’t come with all the features Kartra has to offer.

Plus, you’re also going to have to pay a 5% transaction fee which is pretty annoying.

It may not sound like a lot, but let’s say, you’re making $1,000 per month selling your courses, that’s an extra $50 charge per month.

In which case, it would make sense to just upgrade or use Kartra.

Thinkific pricing

Also, keep in mind, you’re still going to need an autoresponder, which usually costs around $49 per month.

Overall Winner

Teachable may have slightly more advanced features for inside the membership (certificates, quizzes, etc.), but that does not outweigh the business tools Kartra has to offer:

  • Autoresponder
  • Video hosting
  • Calendar
  • Sales funnel tools
  • More page building options

For me, the winner is Kartra.

Not only from the features but also from the pricing.

If you’re using Teachable, then you need to get an external autoresponder and probably use Zapier too. This costs usually around $49 per month.

And, with Kartra, you’re still going to get much better marketing tools, even in the $99 per month plan.

Final Thoughts

Just because the winner was Kartra for me, doesn’t mean it has to be the same for you.

If you’re just looking to host a free course and that’s all you want to do, Teachable can be a great option too.

But, if you’re looking to build a business and have powerful marketing tools, then Kartra simply wins here.

That’s it, I hope you enjoyed this comparison and if you did, make sure to leave a comment and/or share the post.

WishPond vs GetResponse: Which One Is Better For You?

The two main components of most online businesses are landing pages and email marketing.

Today, we are going to compare two platforms that do exactly that, WishPond vs GetResponse

We are going to take a deep look at the features, pricing, and compare them overall to help you find the best-suited option for your business.

WishPond vs GetResponse

WishPond vs GetResponse: Main Differences

WishPond and GetResponse have similar features such as landing pages and email marketing tools. However, GetResponse is much lower-priced across all plans and also offers autofunnels and webinars.  On the flip side, WishPond offers custom CSS customization and social contests.

WishPond Features

WishPond has some great features and it covers all the core online business features most people look for (Landing pages, Email Marketing).

Here are the features WishPond has to offer:

  • Email Marketing
  • Landing Pages
  • Social Contests
  • Custom CSS

Email Marketing

Firstly, we have email marketing features.

WishPond gives you everything you need to start a successful email marketing combine.

This includes:

So, it’s pretty much a normal autoresponder.

Landing Pages

Next, we have the landing pages inside of WishPond.

WishPond also comes with 100+ free landing page templates which are nice and easy-to-edit.

The editor (image below) does feel a little like Elementor for WordPress.

Social Contests

Next, we have another feature that makes WishPond unique, social contests.

WishPond allows you to easily create social contests, referral campaigns, and similar events in a couple of clicks.

This can work great, but you can also probably do this manually with any landing page builder.

Custom CSS

Lastly, we have the custom CSS feature.

Another feature that is pretty unique compared to most of its competitors.

With WishPond, you can add your own custom CSS to make the pages look exactly how you want them.

GetResponse Features

Despite the low pricing of GetResponse, it has a huge number of features.

Here are the features GetResponse has to offer:

  • Email marketing tools
  • Landing Pages
  • Autofunnel
  • Webinars
  • Basic CRM

Email Marketing Tools

Firstly, we have the email marketing tools which you will find inside of GetResponse.

Given that GetResponse was originally just an autoresponder, you would expect these to be strong.

And, that’s exactly what they are.

GetResponse has all the standard email marketing features such as:

  • Automation workflows (Also, behavior-based)
  • Split-testing
  • Lead-tagging

I found that compared to WishPond, GetResponse gives you more triggers in the automation workflows, as well as better analytics and more split-testing options.

Not only that, from the plus plan and up, GetResponse also scores the contacts for you, so you can easily determine what actions you need to take to keep your list active.

Landing Pages

The next feature inside GetResponse is landing pages & templates.

GetResponse comes with around 200 templates which you can easily edit to create a landing page that converts your visitor.

It’s easy to use and it also has pop-ups!

Autofunnel

GetResponse AUtofunnel

Now, let’s talk about one of my favorite features, the autofunnel feature.

The autofunnel will assist you in building your entire sales funnel which will make it much easier.

Plus, it will even measure the ROI for you directly!

Webinars

Another cool feature inside GetResponse is the webinars.

You probably know what a webinar is, but with GetResponse you can host them.

This is a great little feature to have in case you ever need it, even if you don’t need it right now.

Basic CRM

In the higher plans, GetResponse also comes with a CRM (Customer-relationship management) tool.

It is a little limited compared to other CRM tools out there such as ActiveCampaign, as it does not quite let you automate as much as you can with other options.

Nonetheless, it’s a useful added feature inside of GetResponse.

GetResponse vs WishPond: Mobile-Responsiveness

Both of these solutions have an editor that lets you easily edit the mobile version of your page too.

You can also preview the mobile version, so in terms of mobile-responsiveness, they both perform well.

How Much Do They Both Cost?

Let’s take a look at the costs that both of these solutions come at.

WishPond Pricing

Firstly, we have WishPond’s pricing.

I’m not a big fan of their pricing table. Why?

  1. You can only pay annually
  2. Take a look at how quickly you have to upgrade between the plan as your list grows.

Wishpond pricing

Yeah, they might start off at $49 per month, but let me give you a contrast comparison on the next pricing plan.

Their “Everything you need” plan lets you collect 2,500 leads.

Kartra another all-in-one solution also offers space for 2,500 leads, but it:

For the SAME price.

So, that’s why I am not a big fan of WishPond’s pricing, despite there being nothing wrong with their features.

Related Article: Kartra vs WishPond: Which One Is Best For You?

GetResponse Pricing

Just like many other autoresponders GetResponse’s pricing table updates dynamically depending on the number of leads.

Below, you can see the pricing for all plans up to 1,000 leads, but for the full pricing please see their website.

Annual discounts are available too.

Keep in mind, in order to get the needed tools such as automation sequences, you will need the plus plan.

GetResponse pricing

GetResponse pricing also doesn’t increase as rapidly as WishPond’s does.

Here’s what I am talking about, let’s say you’re on the plus plan for GetRespone which already offers more than WishPond.

While on WishPond, you would have to already be paying $199 per month as soon as you cross 2,500 leads, with GetResponse, you would only have to pay $79 per month for 5,000 subscribers (on the plus plan!)

Who Wins Overall?

WishPond may have social contests and custom CSS, but GetResponse has:

  • better pricing plans (lower cost, more options, etc.)
  • Advantage in email marketing
  • Webinars
  • Autofunnel
  • CRM (Although, it’s limited)

GetResponse has more features, for a smaller price.

For me, the clear winner is GetResponse

GetResponse  simply offers more and better features for a smaller price.

The only aspect in which WishPond wins is the social contests and the custom CSS.

Yeah, these features may be quite cool, but they don’t outweigh the tools that GetResponse comes with.

Not only this but if you were to use WishPond, you could only pay annually which I assume is going to be a turnoff for a lot of people. This is quite a similar outcome to Kartra vs WishPond.

Final Thoughts

Both of these platforms have some great features.

But, the difference is really at the price they come at.

While GetResponse has low-pricing plans across all plans, WishPond starts off low and then increases rapidly.

It’s important that you do take this aspect into account too, because you will quickly exceed 1,000 leads, meaning you could be over-paying pretty quickly.

As I mentioned earlier, Kartra offers tons of more features for the same price as WishPond.

So, you always want to take a look at the competitors and find the best option for you.

Kartra vs WishPond

WishPond vs Kartra: Main Differences

The main differences between WishPond and Kartra are that while WishPond only offers landing pages and email marketing tools, Kartra offers a lot more features. Kartra also offers membership site functionality, helpdesks, affiliate management, video hosting, and calendars.

This means Kartra is an all-in-one solution for your entire online business, while WishPond is only for your landing pages and email marketing.

Despite, the huge difference in features, their pricing is almost identical.

Quick Note On Refund Policies

WishPond has an extremely unusual refund policy.

Firstly, there are no monthly plans at all, you have to pay annually.

And, on those plans, there are no refunds, other than a 50% refund if you cancel and refund in the first two months.

Kartra offers a 30-day money-back guarantee, which I like as it shows confidence in their product.

Kartra Features

Kartra has a gigantic list of features.

We will just take a look at the core features and what they have to offer (Still a huge list!). In my Kartra review, I go much more into detail about them if you would like more information.

Page Builder, Templates & Sales Funnel Tools

Firstly, we have the Kartra page builder, templates, and sales funnels tools.

Kartra allows you to easily build out the pages of how you want them to look.

They do this through their templates, as well as their easy-to-use drag and drop builder.

Kartra has over 500 different templates that you can easily customize to suit your business.

Kartra Templates

As you can see in the image above, Kartra does have templates for pretty much any page you can think of.

Plus, Kartra also comes with comprehensive sales funnel tools such as order bumps, one-click upsells & downsells.

You can also split-test any pages you create and add popups or sticky bars.

Kartra Pages gives you everything you need to convert a visitor into a sale.

Email Marketing

Kartra also comes with great email marketing tools including:

Kartra automation workflows.

Kartra’s autoresponder is pretty much a normal autoresponder.

Helpdesks

Using Kartra, you also won’t need an external helpdesk tool, as there is one inside of Kartra.

This is a great little tool and it allows your customers to contact you easily, improving their user experience.

Affiliate Management & Marketplace

Kartra allows you to recruit and manage an army of affiliates for your product.

But, that’s not all.

You also get access to the marketplace, where affiliates can find your product (if you want them to) and apply to become an affiliate.

Plus, if you ever wanted to find a product that you want to sell, you can also apply to become an affiliate.

Membership Sites

Kartra also allows you to manage your membership sites.

You can also drip-feed the content and get advanced analytics.

This is great, in case, you ever want to sell or give away courses.

Video Hosting

Using Kartra, you can also host your videos.

This means you won’t need an external service such as Wistia or Vimeo.

Again, great for your courses.

Calendars

Next, we have Kartra calendars.

This is just a great little tool to keep you managing your days effectively and on the same dashboard as the rest of your business.

You can use this to make sure you don’t miss appointments, collect payments on time, etc.

WishPond Features

WishPond does not quite have as many features as Kartra, but it still has a couple of useful ones.

Landing Pages & Templates

Firstly, we have the Landing pages and templates.

WishPond comes with some great templates which are also easy-to-edit.

On these templates, you also get pop-ups and sticky bars if you need them.

Their editor is also nice, but it reminds me a little of Elementor Pro.

Email Marketing

Just like with Kartra, you also get an autoresponder included, which is pretty much a normal autoresponder.

It includes split-tests, automation workflows, and lead tagging, so there is no need for an external autoresponder.

Social Contests

Here’s a feature that makes WishPond a little more unique.

WishPond allows you to easily create referral campaigns, social contests, and all sorts of competitions.

This is great as it allows you to generate User-generated content.

You can do this manually with all landing page builders, but maybe not as easily and not with as many features.

Custom CSS

Lastly, we have another unique feature which is Custom CSS.

This means, your pages will have a little more flexibility and customization if you use WishPond.

How Much Do They Cost?

Now, that we have seen what they have to offer, let’s take a look at how much they both cost.

I want you to keep an eye on the price increase as your contacts increase.

Because, even if you may only need WishPond’s features, you may be better off with Kartra.

I will explain that later on after we have had a look at the cost of both software.

Kartra Pricing

Let’s start with Kartra

Kartra has four main plans, if you’re in need of a custom Enterprise plan, you can contact their support.

But, what’s cool about Kartra is the only difference between the pricing plans is the resources and a special feature called Kartra agency.

This means other than that feature, you get all the features across all plans.

Kartra pRicing

If you’re wondering what Kartra agency is, it’s a feature that lets you manage your clients’ accounts.

WishPond Pricing

Now, let’s take a look and see how much WishPond costs.

Wishpond pricing

While you may think great just $49 per month, take a look at the increase in price as your contacts increase.

In “Everything you need” you are already paying the same amount as with Kartra’s starter plan for the same amount of leads.

It’s actually even more, as you pay annually, meaning with Kartra you get the 25% discount.

Why Kartra Has Much Better Value

Kartra has much better value than WishPond.

As soon as you reach 1,000 leads which will probably be no more than a month or two, Kartra costs the same price.

When you scale up with WishPond, Kartra actually costs less (See image below)

Plus, you have to pay annually with WishPond.

Here is a list of features that Kartra offers, but WishPond does not:

  • Membership Sites
  • Order bumps, (one-click) order bumps & downsells
  • Helpdesks
  • Affiliate Management
  • Video hosting
  • Calendars
  • Behavior-based Dynamic content
  • Monthly payment plans

Kartra does this for the same or an even smaller cost.

Keep in mind a separate membership site builder usually costs at least $50 per month, plus all the other features could easily be added $200-$500 per month if you were to use WishPond.

And, Kartra does all of those features for the same price as WishPond.

Kartra Extended Trial (30 Days!)

If you do want to get a Kartra trial, I got something cool for you.

Normally, Kartra only offers a 14-day trial, but if you use the instructions below, you can get a 30-day trial.

Step 1: Use this link

Step 2: Click “Start your trial”

Step 3: Wait for the page to be fully loaded, pretend to navigate off the page to trigger the exit pop up

Step 4:  Accept the 30-day trial exit pop up.

Final Thoughts

For me, Kartra is the clear winner.

Kartra offers a lot more features for a smaller price.

I often, try to find scenarios where one product is better than the other, but the only advantages WishPond has over Kartra is:

  • Social contests
  • Custom CSS

That’s it and if you compare that to the gigantic list of features Kartra offers which WishPond doesn’t, it’s a clear win for Kartra.

WishPond was founded in 2009 and still has similar features to when it launched.

Kartra wasn’t launched until 2018, but by then the software market was different.

Something I also like about Kartra is that they are constantly looking to improve so that they outperform their competitors.

Anyway, I hope this article has been helpful in your decision.

You can always give them both a go if you want to, as they both offer a trial period.

This means there is no need for any 3rd party tool like Wistia or Vimeo.

Helpdesks

With Kartra, there is also no need for any external helpdesk tool, as it has one built-in.

Kartra helpdesks allow you to provide your customer with the best experience possible.

Calendars

Kartra also comes with a built-in calendar tool so that you won’t miss an appointment again.

This feature doesn’t only have to be for appointments, it can also help you collect payments on time and just manage your days better in general.

Another great feature by Kartra

Affiliate Management & Marketplace

Kartra also lets you manage your affiliates.

It’s another great tool provided by Kartra, as getting an army of hungry affiliates can give you a huge boost in sales.

But, that’s not all that comes with this feature.

You also get access to the marketplace, where affiliates can find your products & apply to become affiliates, more affiliates = more sales.

Plus, if you wanted to become an affiliate for a product hosted on the Kartra marketplace yourself, you could find it on the marketplace and apply to become an affiliate.

InstaPage Features

InstaPage also has quite a lot of features.

But, the main difference compared to Kartra is that they are a lot more focused on the landing page & conversion-side of things, instead of being an all-in-one platform.

Here are the core features InstaPage has to offer:

  • Landing pages
  • Experimentation
  • Ad Map
  • Collaboration

Landing Pages, Personalization & Experimentation

Firstly, we have InstaPage’s landing pages which I see as their main feature.

InstaPage’s templates look very professional, as you can see in the image below.

But, the landing page templates aren’t what makes InstaPage special, it’s the tools you get for them.

  • Dynamic Content based on all kinds of things (where your customer came from, location, behavior, etc. Kartra has this too, but not quite as advanced)
  • Thor Render Machine (Fastest landing pages on the market, according to them. Is it true? I have no idea.)
  • A/B Testing
  • Advanced Conversion Analytics (a little more advanced than Kartra)
  • HeatMaps (Again, just a little more advanced than Kartra’s heatmaps)

In the enterprise solution which has custom pricing tailored to your needs,  you also get a couple of more features.

However, I haven’t tried that plan myself, so if you would like more information on that, you can head over to InstaPage’s pricing table.

Ad Map

InstaPage’s ad map is also something that you can use to further personalize your pages when running ads.

What it allows you to do is instead of sending your customer to a generic landing page, it allows you to send them to one tailored to the ad they have clicked on.

This also allows you to easily manage your ads and track post-click scores efficiently, without the use of half a dozen spreadsheets.

InstaPage Collaboration

InstaPage also has a feature that lets you collaborate with others.

This is a great feature, especially you own an agency and you are creating the landing pages for someone else.

Everyone you invite can leave comments, but in order to edit the page, you have to go back into the editing feature, which is a bit annoying.

Keep in mind, Kartra also has this feature and you can actually share an entire campaign with others and let them edit it too.

Integrations

Let’s take a look at the software with which these platforms integrate with.

Kartra Integrations

Although you will probably not need integrations when using Kartra, it does come with a couple of integrations in case you do.

With Kartra, you also get Inbound and Outbound API access, so that will usually be enough to integrate with the software that is not on this list.

But, here is the list of Kartra’s native integrations:

  • BrainTree
  • PayPal
  • Stripe
  • Authorize.net
  • mailgun
  • sendgrid
  • Elastic email
  • Postmark
  • Digital access pass
  • Optimizepress
  • Amember
  • s2member
  • Wishlist
  • Kajabi
  • Twillio
  • nexmo
  • Plivo
  • Google calendar
  • Zapier

So, if you for some reason want to stick to a tool for a specific feature that you used to use, then you can do so with Kartra

InstaPage Integrations

As InstaPage does not have as many features as Kartra, the integrations are a little more important.

Luckily, they do have a long list of integrations.

I’m going to name the main ones, but there are a lot more and if you want to take a look at them, you can visit their integrations page.

Here is a list of InstaPage‘s integrations:

Advertising:

  • Facebook Ads
  • Google Ads
  • Microsoft Ads
  • LinkedInAds
  • TwitterAds

Email Marketing:

  • ActiveCampaign
  • GetResponse
  • Campaign Monitor
  • Aweber
  • Constant Contact
  • MailChimp
  • Mad Mimi
  • E-goi
  • ConvertKit

As I did mention, they integrate with all kinds of software so I recommend just checking the integrations page if you are interested in the integrations.

How Much Do They Both Cost?

Let’s take a look at the pricing plans of both platforms to see which one offers better value for money.

Kartra Pricing

As you can see in the image below, Kartra starts at just $99 per month.

Even, in the Kartra starter plan, you get access to all features, apart from Kartra agency.

The only difference between the three plans other than the agency feature is the resources that you get with each plan.

Kartra Pricing

InstaPage Pricing

InstaPage only has two pricing plans, business, and enterprise (custom)

The business plan starts at $199 per month, or $149 if you pay annually.

I can’t really tell you too much about the added benefits of the enterprise plan, as I have not used it myself.

The business plan’s features are the ones we discussed in the section before.

On the business plan, you can only have up to 30,000 visitors which is quite a limitation, considering the next plan’s pricing is unknown.

If you want to use Instapage due to the landing page features it has to offer and you are anywhere near 30,000 visitors, I would definitely look into how much the next plan costs.

Support, Trials & Refund Policies

Our last category is support, trials, and refund policies just to give you a better idea of what to expect from both platforms.

Support

Let’s start with the support, Kartra has a helpful support team, but there is no live chat feature which can be a bit annoying, but the support usually responds in around 12 hours.

Instapage on the other hand doesn’t have a live chat either, but users have reported that customer support is not very helpful and sometimes even rude.

Considering InstaPage’s price tag of $199 per month, you would really expect better.

Refund Policy

Either way, let’s talk about the refund policy.

Kartra offers a 30-day refund policy while InstaPage just offers a 24-hour refund policy.

Again, 24 hours you would just expect better and it’s also another reason why I prefer Kartra over InstaPage.

Trials

Lastly, we have trials.

Both options offer a 14-day trial, but Kartra’s trial costs $1.

Because you have read so far down this page, I just wanted to show you a trick to make Kartra’s trial a 30-day trial, so that you can really give it a go.

Just follow the 30 Day Trial  instructions below:

  1. Use this link
  2. Click start your trial
  3. Once the page is fully loaded, pretend to navigate off the page
  4. Accept the exit pop up offering a double trial

Landing page-specific tools & site speedInstaPage

Yeah, InstaPage may have some small little added landing page features and a slightly faster loading site, but overall that does not outweigh:

  • Membership sites
  • A powerful autoresponder
  • Helpdesks
  • Calendars
  • Affiliate Management
  • Video hosting

For the same or even a smaller price depending on the resources you need.

However, that’s just my take on it, if you need the features that InstaPage has to offer, then InstaPage might be the right solution for you.

Final Thoughts

As you have seen throughout this article, InstaPage and Kartra are both two great platforms.

Due to the huge number of features, Kartra does come out on top for me as I think they outweigh the benefits that InstaPage has to offer.

Nonetheless, InstaPage remains a great landing page conversion solution and it’s popular with big brands & enterprise solutions for a reason.

But, if you’re just starting out, or your business is not quite at Enterprise level yet, you probably want to go with Kartra (Kartra does also have custom enterprise solutions).

Both are impressive solutions that you can use to sell your products online.

In this article, we are going to discuss and take a look at what both of these solutions have to offer, so that you can make an informed choice.

While they are both great at what they do, picking the wrong software could bring you a lot of headaches in the future.

So, let’s make sure that that doesn’t happen.

Kartra vs Shopify: Key Differences

Kartra vs Shopify

Here are the key differences between Kartra and Shopify:

Kartra is a page builder used for many purposes, while Shopify’s primary focus is e-commerce stores.

Shopify is more suited for stores with a bigger selection of products, while Kartra is more suited for websites with a smaller selection of products.

Kartra also comes with other features such as an autoresponder, helpdesks, affiliate management, video hosting, and membership sites.

Shopify does start at a much lower price than Kartra, but to get all the features Kartra offers, you would need a lot of apps, which would usually cost you more than Kartra.

What Is Kartra?

Kartra png

Kartra is an all-in-one solution that offers many features to help its customers run a successful online business.

Genesis Digital the company behind Kartra was founded in 2013, but Kartra wasn’t launched until 2018.

It’s in the process of becoming one of the most popular sales funnel builders, as it’s a powerful all-in-one solution that doesn’t need dozens of integrations.

Kartra Features

Kartra offers many features, so we’ll break them down into the core features that you can use to run your online business.

Purchasing separate software for all of these features can be inefficient and pretty expensive.

That’s why Kartra offers an all-in-one solution.

Page Builder & Templates

Firstly, we have the page builder.

Kartra comes with an easy-to-use page builder, as well as beautiful templates.

Kartra’s landing & sales pages give you everything you need to convert a visitor into a sale.

You can also create “mini-websites” with a selection of products and blog pages.

All pages also come with pre-written copy templates, so you can write better copy without hiring a copywriter.

Kartra does also have blog pages, but these can’t be compared to WordPress and don’t offer the same flexibility.

Membership Sites & Video Hosting

Next, we have membership sites & video hosting.

Using Kartra, you can also host your own membership sites, as well as the videos.

This is great, as it means that you don’t have to use 3rd party software, like teachable for hosting membership sites and Wistia for your videos.

Email Marketing

The next feature is Kartra mail.

Kartra mail is pretty much a normal autoresponder, you get:

  • Newsletter & Broadcast emails
  • Automation workflows with behavior triggers
  • Lead tagging
  • Split-testing

And, these features work great.

Kartra also has great deliverability rates.

Affiliate Management & Affiliate Marketplace

There also is no need for getting a separate software to manage your affiliates.

Using Kartra you can get a hungry army of affiliates and manage them from the dashboard which you use to manage everything else.

You can also choose to put your product on the Kartra marketplace, where affiliates can find it and request to join your affiliate program.

Likewise, you can find the products from others and request to join their affiliate program.

Helpdesks

Lastly, we also have the helpdesks that you can add to all of your pages or membership sites.

This allows you to create a much better user experience.

If your customer needs a helping hand, they can quickly find the helpdesk and contact you.

Comprehensive Sales Funnel Tools

What’s also great about Kartra is the comprehensive sales funnel tools that will increase your conversions:

These features include:

Features like these can improve your conversions significantly.

Other Features

Kartra also offers a range of other features including:

  • Kartra Heatmaps
  • Kartra BAM (Behavior adaptive marketing, dynamic content)
  • Calendars (for appointment setting)
  • Lead database
  • Kartra forms

Kartra Pricing

As I mentioned earlier, Kartra does start at $99 per month.

But, considering both the quality and quantity of the features, it’s a great deal.

A page builder + an autoresponder + membership site builder + video hosting + affiliate management + helpdesks would usually cost you anywhere from $500 to $1,500 per month, depending on which software you use and how many contacts you have.

Kartra pRicing

In case, you are wondering what Kartra agency is, it’s a feature that lets you manage client’s accounts.

You can also have full control of these accounts and manage them as if you would own them.

The best thing about it is, that you can sell these accounts for $99 per month while buying them at a 40% discount.

What Is Shopify?

Now, that we have taken a look at Kartra, let’s take a look at Shopify.

The company was founded in 2004 and has since then become the most popular E-commerce store platforms on the market.

Shopify doesn’t only let you host your online store but also build it.

Shopify Features

Shopify offers all the basics you need to get your store going.

Store Builder & Themes

Using Shopify, you can easily create your e-commerce stores using the wide selection of themes that they have to offer.

This store can then also be hosted on Shopify (included in the plan), meaning after you have created it and added the payment processor, you’re good to go.

Shopify’s store builder is easy-to-use and will allow you to create a basic store.

Blogging App

Inside of Shopify , there is also a blogging app.

Blogging can have huge advantages for any business.

While this is a great little feature, it’s not as flexible as WordPress, as you would expect due to WordPress’s primary focus being blogging.

Advanced Reporting (Advanced Plan Only)

This feature is only available for the advanced plan.

Here are the advanced reporting features available in the advanced plan only:

  • Customer data reports
  • Customer acquisition reports
  • Financial reports
  • Abandoned Cart reports
  • Search data reports by customers in your store

If you’re not on the advanced plan, you only get basic data such as the sales and some limited customer data.

Basic Email Marketing

Inside of Shopify, you also get access to a basic email marketing tool that lets you send receipts.

Shopify itself won’t let you send automation workflows, but that’s not really an issue as you can integrate with other software such as for example ActiveCampaign.

App Store

Another great feature that Shopify offers is the app store.

The Shopify app store offers a range of 3rd party apps that can add features to your Shopify store.

A lot of these features are also specifically tailored towards dropshipping stores which can be a benefit for dropshipping stores of course.

Shopify Pricing

Shopify starts at $29 per month.

And, the plans are all pretty similar, with minor changes where it would make sense to go on the bigger plans if your business generates more revenue.

Other than the analytics we mentioned earlier, the main differences are:

  • Staff accounts
  • Shipping Discounts
  • Transaction fees

This means those discounts & transaction fees exceed or equal the added cost of the bigger plans, then you should definitely upgrade.

Kartra vs Shopify: Support

One thing they both don’t do very well is support.

While Kartra has a friendly & helpful support team, they don’t have a live chat feature.

On the other hand, Shopify does have a 24/7 live chat feature, but the trust pilot 77% one-star reviews are mainly complaining about the support.

Kartra has the more competent & friendly support, while Shopify has the live chat feature and therefore quick support.

How Do They Compare To Each Other?

Let’s take a look at what each platform has to offer which the other one doesn’t.

Offered In Kartra, but not Shopify:

  • Membership sites
  • Helpdesks
  • Comprehensive Autoresponder
  • Drag & Drop builder
  • Affiliate marketplace (to recruit and or be recruited)
  • Affiliate management
  • Video hosting
  • Share campaigns
  • Heatmaps
  • BAM Behaviour Adaptive Marketing (Dynamic Content)
  • Calendars
  • More & better pop-up tools & sales funnel tools (upsells, downsells, order bumps, etc.)

Try Kartra For $1 (14 Day Trial)

Offered In Shopify, but not Kartra:

  • E-commerce store themes
  • Add unlimited products
  • More features for dropshipping
  • auto fraud analysis
  • Multiple languages
  • Mobile commerce optimization
  • App store
  • Customized gift cards
  • Shopify point of sale

Note on the added features from Kartra and the app store from Shopify:

While Shopify offers an app store, Kartra probably already comes with all the features you want to get an app for.

Likewise, all the features Kartra has you can probably get on Shopify’s app store.

However, getting separate apps can often be pretty costly.

Which One Should You Use?

Personally, I prefer Kartra due to the long list of high-quality features.

When running an online business, as your business grows and develops you also usually need more features.

If you use Shopify, you will just keep having to get more apps and it can stack up the costs pretty quickly.

With that being said, if you’re trying to build a full-on store with hundreds of products all on one website, you should probably go with Shopify.

You will just have much better tools to build a store of that kind.

However, if you want to build a more focused funnel or store on a couple of products, Kartra will give you some brilliant tools to do so.

Example of Where Kartra Would be better

Let’s say you’re main product is some sort of shaving kit.

The customer has to type in their email to see the special deal. (Now, you got their email if they leave, you hit them with a discount)

They then go and purchase the product.

But, you also have an order bump of the exact same shaving kit for a 30% discount.

A lot of people will take it, as it’s a great deal.

Then, once they have purchased that you offer them the monthly subscription version for a special price.

And, yes this example is pretty similar to dollar shave club thing, but you get the point.

Creating something like this on Shopify would probably be impossible or cost at least $300 due to the number of apps you would need.

For something like this, you should definitely use Kartra.

Example of Where Shopify Would Be Better

Let’s say, you want to create a clothing brand with not just a couple of products, but hundreds or even thousands.

While you can definitely do this on Kartra, Shopify will have much better features and themes to let you build a store like this.

Or, Shopify can also be a better option for you, if you’re just looking for a super simple web store and you don’t really need all the tools Kartra gives you to increase conversions.

Kartra vs Shopify: Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some frequently asked questions about Kartra vs Shopify:

Can I integrate Kartra With Shopify?

Yes, using a separate app called AppTrends, you can integrate Kartra with Shopify.

Another option is just building a funnel with Kartra and sending the customer to your Shopify store at some point within the funnel. You can then integrate Shopify and Kartra using Zapier which will allow your customer’s data to be transferred between the two pieces of software.

Should I pick Kartra or Shopify for Dropshipping?

For dropshipping, I would usually recommend going for Shopify.

Shopify has order fulfillment tools, while Kartra does not.

With that being said, you get better conversion tools in Kartra

Which Software Should I use For Drop Servicing?

If you are looking to start drop servicing with either of these pieces of software, you should go for Kartra.

It simply has much better tools to help you sell services effectively AND retain your customer.

Is Kartra Worth It?

Yes, Kartra is definitely worth it, if you are going to use the tools.

But, on the other hand, if you’re just looking for the most basic place to sell your products and don’t want all the tools Kartra has to offer, then it probably won’t be worth it for you.

Is Kartra Better Than Shopify?

It depends for what purpose.

If you’re selling services or courses, then it definitely is.

But, if you’re looking to start a dropshipping store then Shopify may be the better option due to the fulfillment tools and it’s more focused on dropshipping.

Final Words

As you have seen throughout this article, both Shopify and Kartra have some amazing features.

One option isn’t really better than the other, it just depends on the purpose.

While Kartra has great conversion tools that Shopify doesn’t have, Shopify has great fulfillment tools that Kartra doesn’t have.

So, it really depends on what you are looking for and what you need.

However, as an overall rating, I would give the crown to Kartra simply due to the:

  • Ease-of-use
  • Quality & Quantity of features
  • Conversion tools
  • Pricing

For what it is, it has an extremely low price.

GetResponse vs Kajabi: Which Software Is For You?

Welcome to my comparison between GetResponse vs Kajabi.

In this comparison, we are going to take a look at both of these pieces of software to help you determine which one you want to use.

Both options are very popular, but the purpose of both pieces of software are a little different.

Let’s find out which one is best for you.

GetResponse vs Kajabi: Key Differences

GetResponse vs Kajabi

The main difference between Kajabi and GetResponse is that Kajabi’s primary feature is the membership sites, while GetResponse’s primary feature is email marketing. Both options also have great landing & sales page tools.

Due to these differences in features, there is also a significant pricing difference. If you do want to create membership sites, you can also consider Kartra and Teachable.

What Is GetResponse

GetResponse was founded in 1998  by Simon Grabowski and has since then become one of the most popular email marketing tools on the market with over 350,000 customers.

As time went on, GetResponse expanded by adding more features such as for example landing pages.

GetResponse Features

GetResponse has a lot of features, but we’ll break them down into the different categories so that it’s easier to understand.

Email Marketing

Firstly, we have email marketing.

Given that GetResponse’s initial purpose was being an autoresponder, as you would expect, they have powerful email marketing tools.

Here are some of the email marketing features that GetResponse has to offer:

  • Broadcast Emails/Newsletters
  • Autoresponder
  • Automation Workflows

  • Split-testing
  • Contact scoring & lead tagging

In case, you don’t know what contact scoring & lead tagging is, both of those features are explained below:

Contact scoring is when GetResponse will give your leads a score on how engaged they are with your emails.

This will help you notice when part of your list is unengaged, so you can put an effort in to win them back.

Lead tagging is basically just email segmentation.

For example, if you’re using two different lead magnets and one is an e-book about losing weight and the other is an e-book on intermittent fasting, you could give each lead a tag depending on which lead magnet they received.

Then if you have a weight loss product, you can sort by this tag and only send it to those with the losing weight e-book tag (if you wanted to).

It’s basically like if you work in a pizza store and then you ask everyone who ordered pizza to stand on the left and everyone who hasn’t ordered pizza to stand on the right.

But, most autoresponders will do this for you.

CRM

The next feature is the CRM.

CRM stands for customer relationship management and it’s a tool that helps you manage your leads to see which ones are the most likely to purchase.

It’s a little limited compared to if you were to buy a CRM on its own, but if you’re looking for an email marketing software with a strong CRM, I would recommend ActiveCampaign.

ActiveCampaign’s CRM lets you automate the process a little more.

Related Article: GetResponse vs ActiveCampaign: Which One Is Best For You?

Nonetheless, GetResponse’s CRM is still a useful tool too.

Landing Pages & Sales Pages

Using GetResponse, you can also build your landing & sales pages.

GetResponse comes with a ton of beautiful templates that you can easily edit or you can build your pages from scratch.

You can also build sales pages with this feature.

Webinars

Next, we have the webinar tool.

Using GetResponse you can host your own webinars which can also be helpful when building your lists.

AutoFunnel Feature

Lastly, we have the autofunnel feature.

This is a cool little feature to help you build your entire sales funnel, through easy-to-use templates as you can see in the image below.

This feature also comes with some ready-made lead magnets, so that can be a big help too if you’re in a B2B niche.

Most of these are on general topics such as Conversion improvement, so they can probably be applied to most B2B niches.

GetResponse Pricing

GetResponse has 3 main pricing plans and an Enterprise solution.

As with most autoresponders, GetResponse has a dynamic pricing table dependant on how many leads you need.

Below you can see the plans for 1,000 contacts, but for a full pricing table, please visit the GetResponse website.

What Is Kajabi?

Kajabi was founded by Kenny Rueter and Travis Rosser in 2010.

Since then it has become one of the most popular membership site builders on the market and has over 25,000 members.

While its main features were originally just membership sites, it also expanded, and as time went on also started offering some more advanced features.

Kajabi Features

Here are the main features Kajabi has to offer:

  • Membership Site
  • Email Marketing
  • Landing & Sales Pages
  • Affiliate Management
  • Webinars

Membership Sites

First of all, we have membership sites.

You would use these if you for example wanted to sell courses.

Kajabi’s membership site builder is probably the best on the market and you’re looking to sell courses, you should probably go for Kajabi.

It offers the most comprehensive tools and is a robust solution for any business up to 100,000 contacts.

Email Marketing

Kajabi also offers email marketing tools.

The automation workflows (combined with the pages) are called pipelines, but they are a little more limited compared to GetResponse’s automation workflows.

With GetResponse, you will get more email triggers and have more ways to split your workflow.

Nonetheless, Kajabi still comes with other important email features such as lead tagging.

Plus, if you do want a full autoresponder such as ActiveCampaign or GetResponse, you can always integrate Kajabi with your autoresponder.

Landing & Sales Pages

Using Kajabi, you can also build your landing and sales pages.

This is nice if you are selling courses, as you don’t need to integrate with a ton of different platforms.

Affiliate Management

Kajabi also comes with affiliate management, meaning you can get affiliates to promote your products.

This can work great for membership sites, as if you have a great product that the members enjoy, they will often promote it.

Webinars

Using Kajabi you can also host your own webinars.

This can also work great if you’re selling courses, especially, if they are higher-ticket courses.

Kajabi Pricing

Kajabi has three pricing plans as you can see in the image below.

Kajabi’s pricing is pretty good for what the software does.

You get access to the membership site builder, email marketing tools, webinars, landing pages & sales pages, so it’s pretty much everything you need to grow a course business.

GetResponse vs Kajabi: Support

Both offer 24/7 live chat support which is great.

Kajabi’s support is known to be very strong.

The same goes for GetResponse, although some users have reported it to be inconsistent.

I have used GetResponse a lot and their support has always been fantastic for me.

Kajabi also offers phone support, while GetResponse doesn’t.

While both offer great support, Kajabi’s support team is a little better.

Try GetResponse For Free! (30 Day Trial, No Credit Card)Try Kajabi Free (14 Day Trial)

Which One Should You Use?

Choosing between these two platforms is pretty simple.

If these two are the pieces of software you have in mind, the choice is easy.

Do you sell courses and do you need comprehensive membership site tools?

If yes, then go with Kajabi and if not, then go with GetResponse.

What If I just want basic Membership Site Tools?

If you just want basic membership site tools, then you have a couple of other options out there.

You can use a tool like Teachable, Thinkific, or Kartra.

Kartra has a lot more advanced features too and it was #1 on my best funnel builders post, due to these features.

Why Is Kajabi So Good For Selling Courses?

There really aren’t other options that compare with Kajabi if you are looking to sell courses.

You get the most comprehensive tools to create powerful drip campaigns and can also create groups and challenges.

Not only this, but you also get the email marketing and landing page tools too, so you literally have everything you need to run a successful membership site.

GetResponse vs Kajabi: Final Words

Hopefully, this article has been helpful in helping you find the right software for your business.

Both of the options mentioned in this article are great for their own purposes, but what it really depends on is whether you want to sell courses or not.

For example, if you’re just selling e-books or services, there is definitely no need to get Kajabi and you will be totally fine with GetResponse.

It just depends on your business.

And, if you need help setting up your landing page with GetResponse, then check out this post as it will help you get all setup.

Other than that, I hope you have enjoyed this article and if you have any questions, feel free to just leave a comment below and I will get back to you asap.

SEMrush vs Keysearch: Real Low-Cost Alternative?!

If you are serious about SEO, you’re going to need a tool that will help you find keywords and relevant data such as the search volume and difficulty.

SEMrush is one of the best tools to use for this and it also offers many other features.

But, today, we are going to compare SEMRush vs Keysearch, which is a low-cost alternative that also displays keyword data.

We’re going to be comparing the features and pricing of these tools to see what they have to offer.

SEMrush vs Keysearch: Key Differences

SEMrush vs Keysearch

The key differences between SEMrush and KeySearch are the pricing and features. While Keysearch comes at a much lower price, it also comes with significantly less features, as you would expect from the price difference. Both tools work well for keyword research, SEMrush just has more features.

What is SEMrush?

SEMRush Png

SEMrush is one of the most popular SEO & SEM tools out there and arguably also the best.

It helps is users find important keyword, backlink, and advertising data so that they can build the most profitable campaign possible.

SEMrush Features

SEMrush has many features that will help you with SEO, SEM, and even social media.

  • Organic Research
  • Content Analyzer
  • Backlink Analysis
  • Audience Insights
  • Keyword research
  • Traffic Analysis
  • KW Difficulty
  • Domain VS Domain
  • KW Magic tool
  • SEO Writing Assistant
  • Position Tracking
  • Site Audit
  • Brand Monitoring
  • OnPage SEO Checker
  • Backlink Audit Tool
  • Organic Traffic Insights
  • Charts
  • My Reports
  • Market Explorer

SEMrush Pricing

Here is the SEMrush pricing.

SEMRush pricing

As you can see, the pricing does start at $99 per month.

While this is a great deal and worth it for most businesses, some beginners & bloggers feel the pricing is a little steep for them.

This is where KeySearch comes in.

However, I would still recommend giving SEMrush a try as the benefits this tool offers are huge.

What is KeySearch?

KeySearch is a keyword research tool that provides the most important keyword data at an incredibly low price.

It’s not quite as popular as SEMrush, but it does have some great features too.

KeySearch features

KeySearch provides the most needed keyword research tools and everything you need to start finding profitable keywords.

Here is the list of features that KeySearch has to offer:

  • In-Depth Keyword Research
  • Keyword Difficulty Checker
  • SEO Competition Analysis
  • Rank Tracking
  • Brainstorm Niche Ideas
  • YouTube Research
  • Backlink Checker
  • Webpage Audit Analyzer
  • Competitive Analysis
  • API & White-label Reporting

As you can see, it does come with quite a lot of tools which is great, especially for the price that it comes at.

KeySearch Pricing

As I mentioned earlier, KeySearch is a real low-cost alternative to SEMrush and provides the most important tools for a small price.

Here is the KeySearch pricing table.

How Do They Compare To Each Other?

In terms of overall features, of course, SEMrush will take the crown.

However, if you take pricing into account, I think the crown goes to KeySearch.

With SEMrush, you just get all the added features for advertising, social media, more in-depth site audits, and a couple of other things.

These features are extremely useful, but I know that some bloggers will just want the keywords.

That’s exactly what KeySearch provides at a much lower cost.

So, in terms of overall features, the winner is SEMrush.

Value for money = KeySearch.

SEMrush vs Keysearch: Keyword  & Backlink Data

One aspect that would definitely be an interesting battle would be the keyword & backlink data that both of these tools provide and how they would compare to each other.

So, let’s take a look.

To do this test, we are going to compare the data that KeySearch provides and the data that SEMrush provides.

Data Provided

KeySearch provides:

  • Search volume
  • Keyword Difficulty
  • Related Keywords
  • Moz Metrics (DA, PA, mRank, mDom)
  • Backlink Data

SEMrush provides:

  • Search Volume
  • Keyword Difficulty
  • Related Keywords
  • SEMrush Authority Score
  • Backlink Data

So, in terms of what data they provide, it’s pretty similar.

But, let’s take a look at each type of data.

Search Volume

Firstly, we have the search volume and as I mentioned in my keyword research for blog posts article, this is usually always underestimated, sometimes quite heavily.

However, KeySearch surprisingly seems to do really well here.

Both tools provide pretty similar numbers for most terms, if not the same.

On some keywords, KeySearch will show more searches, and judging by my search console, I must say that a higher search volume for those keywords seems pretty accurate.

For 9/10 Keywords KeySearch and SEMrush will show you the same search volume or a very similar search volume.

Keyword Difficulty

Next, we have Keyword difficulty.

This is a really useful metric, as it shows you the difficulty score so that you can filter out the low competition keywords.

Here, SEMrush does seem to have the upper hand, as it seems to give you a more accurate indication of how competitive a keyword is.

Take this example of the “drop servicing” keyword for which Franklin Hatchett’s ecomelites.com (DR 48) and digitalmarketer.com rank (DR 80), both have also written on the exact keyword and got multiple links to that specific page.

Left = SEMrush and right = KeySearch

SEMrush vs KeySearch keyword difficulty comparison

While this metric can save you a ton of time when filtering out results, you shouldn’t rely on it.

For the keywords that you really want to rank for, you should do manual checks to see what exactly your competitors have in terms of content & links.

But still, for this metric, SEMrush wins.

Related Keywords

Our next comparison is between the related keywords.

Here they also perform pretty similar and give you some standard suggestions for which they also list the volume, trends & difficulty.

KeySearch also shows you the suggestions shown by search engines which is a pretty cool & unique feature that SEMrush and other keyword research tools don’t have.

Domain & Page Strength Metrics

Both also provide the user with metrics to show the strength of a domain.

While SEMrush provides the user with their own SEMrush authority score, KeySearch uses the metrics from Moz.

Personally, I’m not a big fan of Moz and find their metrics such as spam score usually quite inaccurate.

However, KeySearch only really uses DA, PA, mRank & mDom, which are metrics many people use or at least DA & PA are.

KeySearch Metrics

SEMrush uses their own authority score, which is also quite similar to the Moz metrics, at least they always are pretty similar numbers.

Either way, I don’t really find either of these metrics to be super-useful and they should only really be used as an indication.

In KeySearch, you will also sometimes find that the Moz metrics are a little bit behind.

For example, if you go and check my Moz DA in Keysearch, it will say that it’s a 2, while in Moz it’s a 10.

KeySearch gives you more data, so you could say this is a win for KeySearch.

However, I personally don’t find that data very useful, although it can be a good indication, just don’t rely on it.

Backlinks

Lastly, we have the backlinks, which is a clear win for SEMrush.

The volume of data that SEMrush provides here you simply can’t compare with KeySearch.

Here take a look at my domain as an example.

KeySearch Data:

SEMrush data:

Note that as I mentioned earlier, the traffic is also often 20-30x underestimated in most tools, so don’t be afraid to go for keywords with 10-20 search volume.

If you need more info on this, I have explained it in my keyword research post.

SEMrush will show you a lot of nofollow links like blog comments and stuff like that, but still, you will also find a lot more do-follow links by using SEMrush.

Who wins in terms of Keyword & Backlink Data?

For keywords, I would call it a draw, as they both show solid keyword data such as the volume difficulty and suggestions.

KeySearch can be a little off with the difficulty, but when it is, it’s quite easy to tell thanks to the Moz DA being displayed at the bottom.

KeySearch also has the little added feature of showing search engine suggestions, so yeah for keywords I would call it a draw.

If you want to check the backlinks of a page, it has to go to SEMrush, as they simply provide a lot more data.

But, still, a lot closer than you would have thought, we are comparing a tool starting at $17 per month vs a tool starting at $99 per month!

Which One Should You Choose?

So, which one should you choose?
If you’re looking for an all-in-one tool that will also help you a bit more with your advertising campaigns, backlinks, and more in-depth technical SEO, go for SEMrush.

On the other hand, if you’re just looking to find some profitable keywords, track your rankings, get basic audits, and are not really too bothered about the rest or you’re on a budget, I would definitely go with KeySearch.

Either way, they have both proven to be two brilliant tools.

SEMrush has shown that it is worth the price and KeySearch has proven to be an absolute bargain and a real cost-effective alternative.

WPX Hosting vs Kinsta: The Managed Hosting Showdown | Ultimate Comparison

If you’re a user of the WordPress CMS, you probably have taken a look at managed WordPress hosting.

Managed WordPress hosting has some great benefits like faster speed, automatic site backups, and better support.

Today, we’re going to compare two great managed WordPress hosting solutions, WPX Hosting vs Kinsta.

We’re going to determine a winner between these two popular solutions by putting them to the test in the four aspects where it matters the most.

WPX Hosting vs Kinsta: Key Differences

WPX Hosting and Kinsta are both great managed WordPress solutions. The main difference is that WPX hosting is faster than Kinsta and also comes at a smaller price while providing more bandwidth on most plans. However, Kinsta provides managed WooCommerce hosting, while WPX hosting does not.

Both options also offer free migrations, SSL Certificates & a CDN, as well as free malware removal.

WPX Hosting vs Kinsta

This comparison will be split into four main categories:

  • Pricing
  • Features
  • Speed
  • Support

These are the main things to look for in a hosting provider and the aspects that matter the most, so let’s see how WPX hosting and Kinsta perform.

Pricing

Our first category is pricing.

In this category, we are going to compare the pricing, as well as the resources that both WPX hosting and Kinsta provide including:

  • Bandwidth
  • Number of websites
  • Visits

WPX Hosting Pricing

Let’s take a look at the WPX Hosting pricing plans first.

WPX hosting has three pricing plans, as you can see in the image below.

There are discounts available if you pay annually, usually around 25%.

See full WPX Hosting Pricing

Kinsta Pricing

Kinsta has 10 different pricing plans.

I have added a screenshot of the first 5, but if you would like to all the plans in full detail, visit the Kinsta Plans.

Bandwidth for each Kinsta plan:

  • Starter = 50 GB
  • Pro: 100 GB
  • Business 1: 200 GB
  • Business 2: 300 GB
  • Business 3: 500 GB

Again, for full info and the other plans, please refer to the Kinsta plans table.

Who Wins In Pricing?

In each plan, WPX Hosting offers more bandwidth, more websites, and unlimited visitors for a smaller price, so it’s a clear win for WPX hosting.

With that being said, Kinsta has better Enterprise options, WPX Hosting’s plans do not exceed 35 websites & 40 GB Storage.

For Enterprise solutions, it’s a win for Kinsta, for all other solutions, it’s a win for WPX Hosting.

Features

Let’s take a look at both of the features that both of these hosts have to offer.

WPX Hosting Features

The features within WPX hosting shown below are included in all plans.

See full features on wpxhosting.com

All servers from WPX hosting are hosted on their own servers!

Kinsta Features

Here are some of the features that Kinsta has to offer:

  • Free KeyCDN
  • Free Premium Migrations (1-3 depending on plan)
  • Managed WooCommerce Hosting
  • Unlimited Basic Migrations
  • Powered by Google Cloud Platform
  • DDoS Protection
  • Php 7.4
  • 24 Global Locations
  • 14 Day Automatic Backup
  • Hack & Malware Removal
  • Staging Area
  • Free SSL Certificates

Some of these features are only for specific plans, so if you would like more info on that, you visit the Kinsta pricing table.

Who Wins In Features?

I think Kinsta just wins this round due to the managed WooCommerce hosting and a few other factors.

Kinsta offers 14-day automatic backups and 24 global locations vs WPX hosting’s 28-day automatic backups and 3 global locations.

Plus, Kinsta is also powered by the Google cloud network meaning the servers are hosted on Google’s cloud network.

However, WPX Hosting hosts its own servers which has its own benefits too.

Also, WPX Hosting offers unlimited premium migrations,  meaning they will migrate your site for you, while Kinsta only offers a limited number of premium migrations per plan.

Other than that, they are pretty much identical in terms of features, so it’s a (small)  win for Kinsta.

Domain Authority vs Domain Rating: Which Metric Should You Use?

Site Speed

(Source of all tests & images used: Matthew Woodward)

Let’s compare both of these options in terms of speed, as that’s what a lot of people look for in a hosting company.

To do this, I have borrowed a test from Matthew Woodward, as he made a brilliant test between Kinsta, WPX hosting and a number of other hosting companies.

He created an image-heavy site and cloned it onto each hosting platform to see which one would perform best.

But, for this comparison, we’re going to be focusing on WPX hosting and Kinsta.

GTMetrix Comparison

In case you didn’t know, GTMetrix is a popular way to measure site speed.

As you can see, they both performed great, but WPX hosting came out in front. In fact, they had a page load time half the time from Kinsta

Pingdom Comparison

Pingdom is also another popular way to measure site speed, which Matthew also used to compare the site speed of these different hosts.

Again, both performed well, but WPX hosting did exceptionally well and took half the page load time of Kinsta.

Load Impact Comparison

The next comparison measures the sites speed while it’s under the impact of 500 users at once.

For this comparison, Kinsta does marginally beat WPX hosting in “average response time” which is the most important factor.

But, the difference is very small (2ms) and WPX wins in “highest load time” and “average request rate”.

So, I would call this one a draw, but you can call it a small win for Kinsta if you want.

WordPress Performance Tester

The next test was designed to test the website performance of the actual server itself by making it perform multiple tasks such as maths, string manipulations and a couple of other tasks.

Here Kinsta performed best and was 158 milliseconds faster than WPX Hosting while making 432 additional queries per second.

Not a huge difference, but definitely a win for Kinsta

Who Wins In Speed?

For the speed contest between the two, WPX hosting takes the win.

In both tests by GTMetrix and Pingdom, WPX hosting took half the time Kinsta took to load the identical page.

Kinsta did half some marginal wins in the load impact and server tests, but they were far too small to outweigh WPX hosting’s speed.

Support

Our last comparison is in support.

Unlike other hosting companies, both of these options are known to have brilliant support teams.

If you have a problem with your site, whether that be malware, SSL, speed, or whatever else you can think of, they will be ready to assist you.

Just judging by the support quality, both of these options receive a straight 10/10.

However, neither of them has phone support which some people may prefer, so overall for support, I would give both companies a 9/10.

Get WPX HostingGet Kinsta

WPX Hosting vs Kinsta: Who’s The Winner?

Overall, I would give it to WPX Hosting.

However, it always depends on the purpose of the site.

If you’re looking for an Enterprise solution and need more than 40GB storage or 35 websites, then go with Kinsta

CategoryWinner
PricingWPX Hosting
FeaturesKinsta
SpeedWPX Hosting
SupportDraw

Kinsta also wins in features which might be a reason for some people to go for Kinsta if the added features are ones that they are looking to use (Managed WooCommerce hosting, better for SaaS tools, etc.)

It’s a tough decision, as both of these hosts are great, but overall I would say WPX hosting wins, especially when you consider their pricing.

Picking Between WPX Hosting and Kinsta

Here is how I would pick between WPX and Kinsta.

Bloggers, small businesses and “normal” websites = WPX Hosting

WooCommerce Users, SaaS Tools & Enterprise businesses = Kinsta

WPX Hosting provides more value for money, while Kinsta provides more Enterprise options and managed WooCommerce hosting.

Either way, I definitely wouldn’t knock either of these two options, as they both provide a quality service for their users, alongside quality support.

If you have any questions or need help making a choice, feel free to leave a comment and I will get back to you asap.

Other than that, I hope you have enjoyed this article and if you did make sure to share it and/or leave a comment!

6 Best Autoresponders For Affiliate Marketing 2020

If you want to start affiliate marketing, you’re going to need an autoresponder.

Otherwise, you would be leaving a lot of money on the table, as you only get to sell once to each lead.

Plus, by not using an autoresponder you can’t collect emails before the sale, meaning you can’t follow-up with your leads which also results in fewer sales.

So, you definitely need an autoresponder, but there are so many options and you can’t pick.

That’s why today, we’re going to be taking a look at the 6 best autoresponders for affiliate marketing and what they have to offer.

Best Autoresponders For Affiliate Marketing: What To Look Out For

When looking for an autoresponder as an affiliate, there are a couple of things that you want to look out for.

1. Features

Firstly, we have the features.

In an autoresponder for affiliate marketing, you definitely want to have features like automation workflows and probably even landing pages.

Make sure that you are aware of what features you need, this will make your choice a lot easier.

2. Deliverability

You should also keep an eye out for deliverability, although if you are following the best practices, you shouldn’t really run into any issues.

Here are some best practices that you should always follow:

  • Cloak your affiliate links, ideally with your domain.
  • Test your emails before sending them, see where they land.
  • Don’t send or promote spammy content (i.e click here to make $5940, etc.)

As long as you are following these guidelines, you should not really run into any issues when it comes to Deliverability.

3. Allowing Affiliates

Lastly, you also want to make sure that the autoresponder allows affiliates.

Some do and some don’t, but some are also very strict on affiliates like one of the options mentioned on this list.

Don’t worry, if you are looking to use them, then I have some guidance on how to stay in the green area.

Best Autoresponders For Affiliate Marketing

6 Best Autoresponders For Affiliate Marketing

Here are the best autoresponders for affiliate marketing:

  • GetResponse
  • ConvertKit
  • ActiveCampaign
  • Aweber
  • Kartra Mail
  • SendLane

1. GetResponse

Firstly, we have GetResponse.

GetResponse is one of the most popular autoresponders out there, with over 350,000 customers.

And, it’s the best for affiliate marketing. Why.

Mainly features, but also the pricing.

The features are explained below as GetResponse is the first on this list, but won’t be for the other’s (if the features have already been explained).

GetResponse Features

GetResponse offers a variety of features and it’s actually more than an autoresponder.

Autoresponder & Automation Workflows

Firstly, we have the standard features that you would expect from an autoresponder.

You get the email autoresponder, as well as the action-based automation workflows which are a must.

After collecting your leads email, they will then be sent into something like this:

Pretty standard stuff, but this is something that you always need.

Email Analytics

Next, we have the email analytics.

Again, pretty standard stuff, so that you can compare which of your emails did well and which ones didn’t.

List Management

You also get some great features that allow you to manage your list effectively.

Contact tagging: This feature allows you to “tag” your leads and segment your list even further.

For example, if they entered into your automation workflow via your opt-in page about blogging, you could add a “blogging” tag to them.

Now, that you know that they are interested in blogging, you can send them specific offers that would interest bloggers.

Contact scoring: GetResponse also gives you scores on how engaged your leads are.

Using these scores, you can then quickly realize when they become unengaged and try to get them back in terms of engagement.

Landing Pages & Funnels

If you are looking to run traffic to a landing page, GetResponse can be a brilliant option.

Not many autoresponders offer landing pages, but GetResponse does.

So, you won’t need an additional landing page builder, as you can just build all your pages in GetResponse.

You also get access to the auto funnel feature which lets you build your entire funnel easily & quickly.

Plus, you also get done-for-you lead magnets on topics like conversions which can work great in marketing niches.

Webinars

You also get webinars which can be beneficial to affiliates too.

Most affiliates don’t really use webinars, but some do, especially when trying to sell really high-ticket items.

For example, if you’re trying to sell a $2,000 course, you could offer 3 bonus courses and a 1-hour coaching call, as a bonus.

GetResponse Pricing

Just like most autoresponders, GetResponse pricing depends on how many contacts you have, so, therefore, the table updates dynamically.

In the image below, you can see the pricing up to 1,000 contacts, but for more information please head over to www.getresponse.com/

GetResponse Is a Great Option For…

GetResponse is a great option for affiliates, who are looking to drive traffic to a landing page and collect emails there.

As GetResponse is an autoresponder, you also get the powerful automation features that you need to make the most out of each lead.

Using GetResponse, you won’t need any 3rd party landing page builder tool, which can save you costs and time getting everything to work together.

It has everything you need to get started to build an affiliate marketing business, which is why it’s the best autoresponder for affiliate marketing.

Try GetResponse For Free! (30 Day Free Trial, No Credit Card Required)

2. ConvertKit

Just behind GetResponse, we have ConvertKit

And, there really wasn’t much between the two.

GetResponse and ConvertKit are pretty much the exact same, the only features that GetResponse has which ConvertKit doesn’t:

  • Webinars
  • Autofunnels to help you build funnels better & more easily
  • CRM (GetResponse’s CRM is pretty basic too & most affiliates probably won’t need a CRM)

However, features aren’t the only reason why ConvertKit is behind GetResponse.

In a recent study on deliverability, GetResponse scored 75%, while ConvertKit scored 60%.

Usually speaking, if you follow the best practices for getting your email delivered, you’re not going to run into issues.

The only reason why I took this into account for this particular ranking was that your affiliate links can sometimes have a negative impact on deliverability.

So, always make sure to cloak them properly with trusted cloaking services and test your emails before sending them.

ConvertKit Pricing

ConvertKit does only have one pricing plan, which includes all the features and it starts at $29 per month.

It also depends on how many contacts you have, so if you need more than 1,000 head over to ConvertKit for more info.

Where Does ConvertKit Win Compared To GetResponse?

The ConvertKit dashboard is a little easier to use than GetResponse.

But, it’s not a huge difference and I have heard people say that they prefer the GetResponse dashboard.

Either dashboard is fine for both beginners and more experienced marketers.

It also may win in terms of pricing for some features, as ConvertKit gives you all the tools in one plan, while GetResponse has 3 plans.

3. ActiveCampaign

Warning: ActiveCampaign does not really allow affiliate marketing, so read this carefully!

ActiveCampaign has the highest deliverability and is probably the best email marketing tool out there.

However, they don’t really allow affiliate marketing, as they want to look after their deliverability which makes them stand out.

They do allow affiliate links if you:

  • Offer value to your audience
  • Don’t just send them any random offer
  • Don’t send them random B.S about making money online and promising the world.

Plus, they want it in limitations and only next to high-quality content.

So, what I like to do, is just send my audience blog posts that contain affiliate links.

This way, I am just sending my contacts to my new blog posts, not sending them affiliate links.

What is ActiveCampaign and How is It Used?

ActiveCampaign Pricing

Again, for full pricing head over to ActiveCampaign.

Below, you can find the pricing if paid annually, for the smallest number of email contacts.

As you can see, the pricing is also very good, especially considering the strong email marketing tools that it provides.

Why ActiveCampaign is in 3rd Spot

They don’t offer landing pages, but they do have the best email marketing tools and deliverability.

Combine this with the fact that they don’t really allow affiliates, I think 3rd spot is a fair ranking for them.

GetResponse vs ActiveCampaign

Use ActiveCampaign IF

Use ActiveCampaign, if you’re not going to send loads of affiliate links in emails and have somewhere else to collect emails.

Maybe, you’re a blogger or YouTuber who mainly wants to use Email to send your audience your newest content which contains affiliate links.

Try ActiveCampaign For Free! (14 Day Trial, No Credit Card Required)

4. Aweber

In the 5th spot, we have Aweber, which is also another option that is very popular.

Aweber also offers landing pages, but they are very basic-looking and not as easy-to-use as ConvertKit or GetResponse.

But, in terms of features, Aweber is pretty decent, just behind ConvertKit & ActiveCampaign.

Landing pages ✔

Contact Tagging ✔

They have Automation workflows, but they are much more limited compared to the other options on this list, with fewer triggers.

Here’s a little comparison that really demonstrates how Aweber has fewer features but is also less visual.

If you want to send the emails that are most likely to bring you clicks and sales due to better triggers, then go with another option on this list.

With that being said, I am probably being a little harsh on Aweber, as they do have some great tools which will be good enough for many people starting out.

Aweber Pricing

Again, Aweber’s pricing is heavily dependant on the number of contacts that you have.

So, for full info head over to www.aweber.com/

Choose Aweber If

Aweber can be a good option if you’re looking for basic email marketing tools, at an affordable price.

I don’t really see any place where Aweber is superior over GetResponse, so it’s quite hard to give you a scenario in which you should choose Aweber.

Nonetheless, Aweber is still a solid option and should definitely not be dismissed, as they may make some improvements in the future to get the upper hand vs GetResponse and other options on this list.

Try Aweber For Free (30 Day Free Trial)

5. Kartra Mail

In the 5th spot, we have Kartra Mail.

Kartra mail is a feature of Kartra, meaning it actually offers a lot more than an autoresponder.

And, Kartra is the best at what it does.

It’s actually an all-in-one marketing solution that also provides:

  • Membership sites
  • Page & Funnel Building
  • Helpdesks
  • Video hosting
  • Affiliate Management

It literally takes every single tool, other than blogging, and stuffs it into one powerful tool.

They do have blogging tools, but it just doesn’t replace WordPress.

Related: Kartra vs WishPond: Which One Is Best For You?

Why Kartra Is On This List

Many affiliates will want to use free courses to sell their affiliate products.

Kartra’s membership sites make that easy.

This means you can use Kartra to host a course which you can combine with their powerful email marketing tools to market your affiliate products effectively.

You can build your pages, host the courses that you use to sell your products, and have powerful email marketing tools as well.

Kartra Mail Features

Kartra Mail itself is pretty much a normal autoresponder.

Check out some of the features:

  • Intelligent Split Testing
  • Glorious Templates

The only feature they are missing compared to GetResponse, ActiveCampaign, etc. is contact scoring.

Kartra Pricing

Due to the incredible amount of features, Kartra’s pricing does start a little higher than most other options on this list.

But, keep in mind that if you are going to use all of the features, Kartra will save you a lot of money.

An autoresponder,  (sales & lead) page builder, membership site builder, helpdesk, and all the other features individually would cost you around $300 to $1500, depending on the number of leads that you have.

Kartra pRicing

Why Is It behind Aweber?

Despite me praising it to the moon and it being incredibly good at what it does, most affiliates will probably not need all the features.

While some might use the features to make an absolute killing, for others’ it would just be overkill and they probably would not use all the features.

Use Kartra If:

Use Kartra if you are looking for much more than an autoresponder.

If you want to host courses and use their comprehensive sales funnel tools, then Kartra is a great option.

Signing up for a ton of different tools separately to get all of these features, would usually cost you a lot more than what Kartra charges, so it can be a great option.

6. SendLane

Lastly, we have SendLane.

SendLane is another great tool that lets you send affiliate links inside of your email marketing campaigns.

In terms of segmentation & automation, it’s probably the strongest on this list, alongside ActiveCampaign.

Lists, tag management, and some other advanced automation features such as ROI tracking that most other options don’t offer.

However, it does also have some significant problems which is why it’s so far down this list and not at the top.

  • No A/B testing
  • Not good handling of sensitive information
  • Slow support, sometimes taking 96 hours to respond
  • Pricing starting at $99 per month.

With that being said, keep in mind that they do probably have the best email marketing tools on this list.

The only reason, why SendLane so far down is the 4 problems mentioned above.

I just think $99 per month for literally just an autoresponder would be overkill, but some might want to use it.

SendLane Pricing

Keep in mind that the pricing is for 5,000 contacts which means it’s actually pretty good.

The only problem is that they don’t have a more cost-effective solution for people starting from scratch.

In terms of email marketing features, they are probably on top, but as the pricing starts at $99 per month, I think most affiliates will pass.

I also ranked them behind Kartra, as they both start at $99 per month, but Kartra gives a lot more non-email marketing tools.

Use SendLane If:

Use Sendlane if you are looking to sell your own products next to affiliate marketing and want comprehensive email marketing tools that will track the ROI for you.

I am not a Sendlane user myself and have never used it, so I am can’t give you the best possible information in terms of the added features.

If you want more information on them, I recommend just heading to the SendLane website.

How To Pick The Best Autoresponder For Affiliate Marketing

If you need help picking the right autoresponder, then just take a moment and think about the features you need.

How are you looking to promote your affiliate products?

Where are you looking to collect emails?

To help you with your decision, I have outlined 3 common scenarios when it comes to picking an autoresponder.

1. Landing Page + Autoresponder

Firstly, you might need a landing page builder and an autoresponder.

If this is the case, then you should go for either GetResponse or ConvertKit, as they offer the best features.

GetResponse slightly wins in terms of features, as well as Deliverability, but either option is fine.

2. Just an Autoresponder

If you’re just looking for an Autoresponder, then go for ActiveCampaign, if you are cool with the guidelines I mentioned earlier.

In case you aren’t, go for something like GetResponse or Aweber.

Again, all of these options are completely fine, but GetResponse and ActiveCampaign have the best features.

3. Much More Than An Autoresponder

If you’re looking for much more than an autoresponder including:

  • (Sales & Lead) page builder
  • Membership site builder
  • Helpdesk
  • Video hosting

Then go for Kartra, as no other options will bring you that amount of quality for such a low price!

SEMrush makes it easy to copy whatever is working for your competitor.

Which keywords are they advertising on?

Which keywords are they ranking for?

Take the URL of their website & put it into SEMrush, it will then spit out:

  • Where they are advertising
  • Organic keywords
  • Backlinks

3 variables that you can try to mimic for your own success!

You can then click on whichever one you want to see and it will show you all the data, meaning you can copy it.

With this data, you can then filter out the keywords that you want to rank for, see how hard it is to rank for them, and get going with your project.

3. Content Tools

SEMrush also helps you write better-optimized content.

  • SEO Content template (keyword-specific)
  • SEO writing template (again, keyword-specific)
  • Content gaps

As you can see, you can find content ideas and SEMrush will then also help you write the best content possible for that keyword.

So, you don’t only get the off-page tools, you also get everything you need to write killer content that is well-optimized.

4. Technical SEO

In fact, SEMrush doesn’t just help you with on-page & off-page, it also helps you with technical!

All the keywords, ideas, backlinks that you find can also be added to lists for specific projects.

This means, you can easily plan campaigns for each project, allowing you to run more effective campaigns.

Is SEMrush Good?: Conclusion

Yes, SEMrush is great.

If you’re a marketer or own a business and are serious about SEO, you need SEMrush.

SEMrush provides you with everything you need to dominate the core factors of SEO, content & backlinks.

Using SEMrush, you have a cutting edge over your competitors, as you get to see exactly what they’re doing, meaning you can then mimic that.

Likewise, if your competitors are using SEMrush and you aren’t, they will have a big advantage over you.

If every time you find a profitable keyword, they can just compete with you, but you aren’t seeing their keywords, then they are probably going to come out on top in the long run.

That’s why if you’re serious about SEO, you need SEMrush.

However, if you’re main goal is not around SEO or SEM, then there probably isn’t much point in SEMrush for you, as it’s a premium tool.

There is no point in paying for a premium tool that you’re not really going to use.

On the flip side, there is no point in trying to save money if your main focus is SEO. Why?

It will cost you money in the long run through missed keyword opportunities, wrong actions due to little/no data and your competitors will be able to see what you’re doing, but you can’t see what they’re doing.

If your main focus is SEO, then you definitely should consider SEMrush.
